The Noris Hotel provides superior customer service. If you need anything (Example: Soap, Iron, Ironing Board, Towels) they are quick and prompt to deliver them personally to your room. The room is spotless and very modern looking. Our room had a loft feel. Living area and bathroom below equipped with a mini bar and fridge. The upstairs was a very open plan with a comfortable sleeping area and tv. There was also a balcony that we did not use, but was beautiful to see the snow outside. We did not eat in the restaurant within the hotel, but we did enjoy a pretty good breakfast there our final morning. The bar offers a variety of beverages at night that we enjoyed one evening back after dinner. Staff shower great customer service. We felt so at home at this hotel and the Christmas spirit was really brought to life with their beautiful decor. The hotel is a good 15 minute walk from the city center. It is not bad and as long as you have a warm coat, it is very doable. A taxi ride ranges from 8-15 euros to the center. The only negative thing I can mention is their wifi. Their costs get very expensive for unlimited access daily. Apparently the codes bought can only be used one per device which gets very pricey when you have multiple cellular devices and a laptop. I was disappointed on that aspect, but everything else was a winter land dream getaway. I didn't see the inside area of the restaurant, as we ate outside. The beer garden feels a little claustrophobic located between three walls. The lack of much space is understandable right here in the center of town. Nevertheless, there is good atmosphere in the beautiful beer garden. I liked the selection of beer. Brands I had not heard of before. The alcohol free white beer I tried was delicious. The service is not quite ideal. The waiters walk around with 'secret service' style ear pieces which looks funny. The waiter in charge was shouting commands to the other two waiters. Like a little general. Quite annoying. Part of the staff was foreign thus didn't speak the German dialect (I speak good German), which I takes away some of the charm of a Bavarian restaurant, I think. It's like going to a Thai restaurant with German waiters. I must add that one of the waiters was local and amused us very much with his jokes and good mood. The breakfast was phenomenal, and was in the cutest room. The whole hotel felt like a castle. I seriously would want to like have my wedding there or something. I felt like a princess the whole time and it wasn't even that expensive! The room had good heating, lots of charm, a comfortable bed, a TV, and a very nice bathroom. I wish the gym had a treadmill, but frankly I'm happy they had a gym at all with a bike. I really have no complaints. Everything about this hotel was wonderful. And if you're wondering about the location, don't worry for a moment. It's about a three minute walk from the train station (I know what you're thinking, but I promise this train station isn't dodgy at all and there are no bad characters hanging around, so it's totally safe!) sits in the middle of the wonderful Main Street for shopping, Christmas markets, and fruit stands. It's right by a few museums, too! You honestly couldn't ask for a better location. The walls were thick in the hotel so you never heard a sound from the street or other rooms either. A little beer and bar food was exactly what we needed at the hotel bar to tie us over on a Sunday…read morenight in this Bavarian city of Nurnberg, Germany. We tried a couple of great German draft beers along with soup, pizza and a chicken sammy for our group. I'm always amazed at the beautiful glassware used all over Europe proudly displaying the the brewer's prestigious name. Tonight, we tried a golden-colored wheat beer with lush, white foam brewed in Munich and an Oktoberfest-style Pilsner from a small town just north of Nurnberg. Both hit the mark. The Acom Hotel's Bar was just what we needed for a late Sunday night snack.
