She very unprofessional except when she's hiring you to work for her. The way my employment ended was with her assaulting me and not giving me my final check. On the other hand the counselors that work for her are great ! While working there a few of the counselors told me that when they went to cash their checks the check bounced , she is a very manipulative person that should not have the great employees she has no one deserves to be assaulted or have their checks (more than one) bounce, or have their check from them because she can't control herself from assaulting people. I wouldn't recommend working or getting any counseling from Diane Koch. And yes I did file a polo report for her assaulting me.

I was told it was a questionnaire that the councilor would go through with me and would take about an hour. I was scheduled to meet Diane. Upon arrival there was no receptionist, just an empty office so I waited. When Diane came out with a patient they were still talking! Then, with out introduction, paperwork, medical history or anything she leads me into a meeting room. She tells me how good she is at her job, not mentioning actual accolades just telling me how cool she is. When she finishes, I introduce myself and ask her who she is. The meeting was disastrous, too much and too personal to write it all here. Diane was on her phone several times during our time and only put it down when I made a point of addressing it. She told me she doesn't know me or what's going on with me but that she definitely knows how to 'fix' me. I decided that this wasn't going to work and wanted to leave but she wouldn't let me. Then about 15 minutes later she decided this wasn't going to work. The whole interaction was awkward and uncomfortable. Diane interrupted me so many times that I finally interrupted her and asked to stop interrupting and please let me finish. Diane's response was to roll her eyes, cross her arms and sit back in her chair. Finally she asked me what I want from this meeting because as far as she could tell I had simply given up hope and was looking for an excuse. I told her that I came in for an evaluation. Diane's response, "We don't do that here, I don't do that. What you need is a mental health evaluation." Those are her words verbatim but it felt like she was telling me I'm lazy and crazy, it felt insulting. At the end of it all I was more distressed, anxious and overall upset than before I met Diane. It is my opinion that this entire business should be avoided even as a last resort.
