I came across Heidi Howell after I was researching for a professional resumes writer for a new position I was applying for. I already had a resume written. But it was very outdated. I was also in somewhat of a time crunch. Heidi spent numerous phone hours with me interviewing me regarding my background, skills, life, and accomplishments as well as reviewing the current documents that I sent her. She also worked with my schedule seeing how I was very busy. I would like to say after using her services I found myself in a much more financially rewarding position. I know it's been five months since my new position. But I want to say that I believe in people who really care about what they do in life and who care about others, and not just about the buck. After 22 years of employment I found myself in the uncomfortable position of not having a job. After doing some research I discovered that it takes an average of 3-6 months to find a job which was very discouraging to me during an already difficult time. Thankfully, Heidi helped me with my resume and cover letter and did an absolutely amazing job! The process started with a phone call and then a thorough questionnaire. All I can say is, trust her process because she was able to turn that questionnaire into accomplishments that I had never given myself credit for. Heidi is kind, patient and a pleasure to work with. She is the best in the business. Needless to say, it didn't take me the average of 3-6 months to find a job after all, it took only 3 weeks! And in those few short weeks after sending my new resume and cover letter out, I received 3 requests for interviews and now have a great job that is close to home! Thank you so much, Heidi! read more

Heidi did an exceptional job creating a new and improved resume and cover letter for my husband. He had been out of work for almost 6 month when I contacted Heidi. She was prompt, reassuring, and kind the whole process. She answered any questions or concerns we had within the hour by text or email. The cover letter and resume turned out beautiful. She made my husband look like an expert in his field and really brought out his personality in his CL and resume. So after posting his new resume the interviews start rolling in! Heidi is conscientious, kind, absolutely professional, ethical, and worked hard to achieve the desired outcome that she and I wanted. I am no longer wasting my time applying for jobs without a proper resume. I do not mean bullets, spacing and words, I mean a resume that tells the personal story of what I have to offer. The resume and cover letter are an investment in my future. Compared to being unemployed, without job prospects, to having three responses in one day, yes, the cost is appropriate, and I find it amazing that she does not charge more. Heidi is dependable; she got back to me quickly. She was there for me at every turn, with every response to every single question I had, no matter how insignificant. Her work is excellent!! I find her ethical prowess in being completely forthcoming on a resume pushed up her quality of work. It is not just that she has skills for writing or formatting her work, it is that she cares what goes into it, and that it is completely accurate. I have already recommended Heidi to my son, and a few other friends of mine in the same situation. I feel she is the best in her field. Everyone who knows me and my prolonged job search for the past few years, is so happy for me that I found someone who did not once again, claim to be an expert, and produce something mediocre. Heidi is the best at what she does, the best that money can buy. Heidi looks into the person as a whole. I appreciate the time, attention, and hard work that pushes her way up the scale of good, best, and excellent work! I admire her on a personal level, and respect her on a professional level. She delivers what is promised. read more

Fantastic experience working with Heidi. She was extremely thoughtful in her approach and even brought to light elements of my professional background that had not occurred to me to highlight and other elements that were actually a distraction from the job I truly wanted to pursue. Her "intake interview" to start the process is very thorough and she takes copious notes that prove to be very insightful and useful - and in my case, especially beneficial in preparing a resume for a very unique opportunity. Heidi's service goes well beyond just creating a resume, as she guides you through considerations for other forward-facing components of the job search that are so important, such as the cover letter and LinkedIn profile. If you've ever found yourself in a panic because you may be losing your job soon, you know how I was feeling the day I called Heidi. With uncertainty hanging over my head and the realization I'd been out of the job search pool for over 20 I knew I had to get a resume together and fast. I tried to do some research on my own and saw that even the layout of resumes have drastically changed since my last job search. At that point I knew I needed a professional and good old Yelp pointed me to Heidi. I can't begin to tell you how knowledgeable, professional, convenient and thorough she is. First off, all your interviews and be done over the phone so she can gather very detailed and specific info, how easy is that? She works late into the evening and on Saturday so there's always time for you to connect. Her expertise in the field is apparent from your first call so you know you're getting a good product. Once the resume and cover are done, she sends you a draft and explains the editing to you so you can customize it for future jobs. I could not be happier with the service and resume I received from Heidi. Her prices were comparable to other services I looked into and I feel I got much more personal service.
