If I could give this school a zero star review then I would. My daughter is in Kindergarten and up…read moreuntil now she has been attending this school. We have had NOTHING but issues from these teachers and staff. The first incident was regarding my daughter having a "fever". My daughter has a condition which makes her temperature spike if she gets excited or hot so they would check her temp which read at 100.3 and call me to come and pick her up from school even though this was documented and her temp would be back to normal by the time I arrived at the school. To solve this, I had to get another note from her doctor explaining exactly what was going on. They continue to send notes home for little ignorant things such as; the type of water bottle she took to school, needing a note for non medicated chapstick and so on. Then yesterday, I picked my daughter up from the babysitter that she goes to after school and she was complaining with her arm hurting. My daughter then told me that she fell from the monkey bars on the playground onto her arm and it was hurting really bad. She then said her "teacher" wrote me a note about it and it was in her backpack. Upon arriving home the note from her "teacher" stated that she "bumped" her arm on the playground. I have reached out to the Board of Education in Berkeley County with no response of course and will continue to do so until I get a proper reason as to why I was not notified that my daughter was injured on school property. If I have to I will take legal action against this school which is the last thing they need considering the current abuse allegations they are dealing with. Every school in Berkeley County West Virginia is complete trash including this one. If you are looking to move to this area I wouldn't suggest it especially if you have children who have to go to public school. Luckily for us, our daughter will be going to a much better school very, very soon.

It felt like prison. The food was shit, the rooms were poorly lit and half of them didn't have…read moreclocks, it was like a CIA torture room. The teachers didn't seem to like their job and there are cops just like in prison. People even vandalized the school as if there was a riot. But at least I got to go home in the end of the day. Would go back.
