Implant exchange to silicone, breast lift, liposuction, Brazilian butt lift. LOVE!!!! LOVE!!!! LOVE!!!!! The front staff was so kind. We had business and paperwork to complete and we needed to get down to business. With that in mind, we influence those around us; greet a stranger with a smile and 99.9% of the time, it's contagious. I'm not interacting with a robot, I'm interacting with a human being that may need your smile today. Most doctors offices are busy, employees are keeping up with multiple things and can seem focused on task which will appear rushed, short, or rude; just smile and ask how their day is....you may make their day; what goes around comes around. And in my opinion, a surgeon that's not busy; there's usually reason. I don't mind waiting for the best. We all have iPhones and just can't stay off of them; so what's the difference now. We all feel like our own time is valuable; but considering and actually making surgical changes to your body is not supposed to be a drive thru experience. Yes, I had an appointment, and no I wasn't in and out like Chick Fil-A drive thru like I wanted to be, but I asked every question I needed and probably delayed Dr Hedden for the next one of you who was stewing in the next room. Dr Hedden will answer every question you have, I know because I had a ton; key was, I didn't expect Dr Hedden to be a mind reader and then was mad when he didn't clue in and left the room for the next appointment. We all want to be treated like we are their only patient. Dr Hedden was very professional, patient, and explained everything that was needed to achieve my results; even correcting a few unrealistic expectation. I was grateful that Dr Hedden gave me a realistic view of what I could achieve with my body type; so many times we don't even realize the oddities of our own bodies. Dr Hedden is honest and will not paint a picture of unrealistic perfection; that being said.....I think he is more of a magician than he realizes. I turned out perfect!! I knew what I wanted corrected; I just wasn't sure how Dr Hedden would go about it. I listened and paid very close attention to what he recommended, but still felt unsure of it all. It is an overwhelming experience. I would recommend to talk with Dr Hedden again if you don't understand completely and fully the plan you have agreed upon. It's your body and you're the only one who has that image in your mind if what you want. so that's why I had a second consultation. It's your fault if you don't go back for a second consultation and claim being confused or rushed on the day of surgery! I've never understood why I've read so many reviews of people complaining about being confused or rushed on the day of their surgery; it's your responsibility to your own life to have all that ironed out before the day of surgery. There's a phone number for Dr Hedden, use it! LISTEN CAREFULLY TO YOUR PREOP INSTRUCTIONS!!! When the nurse calls you before surgery get a paper and pen and write it down. And once again, CALL BACK if you have any questions or if you just spaced out about it all; we all get nervous and forget. I did and I called back. When I scheduled surgery, the nurse told me this was my schedule surgery time but that I would receive a call the day before surgery for my actual arrival time. Your packet says; "be prepared to stay all day". No one seems to read the most important part of the packet. It takes times for the nurses to get you ready, it takes time for anesthesia to talk to you, it takes time for Dr Hedden to mark you up with that embarrassing sharpie. This is your time to ask any questions you didn't understand. If you are confused, ask to have it explained; only you loose the IQ points if you don't ask. I've yet to have any surgery where I didn't wait, we all go in turn and there's just 1 surgeon. It's not rocket science. I'm glad he didn't rush with you or me; that's why he's the best! I did wait a little while longer for my surgery to get started; little did I know that another person needed some extra attention by Dr Hedden. Who knows what he finds when he opens people up. I am grateful that I know he will do the same for me. I even learned that some people wake up slower from anesthesia and that at that time, that patient is priority! That made me feel better, because I knew I would be that priority #1 patient shortly. They have 2 front windows, if one says go to the other window then go. You look like a fool just standing here fuming. Point is, "ask as many times as you need about updates on your family member in surgery". My husband did, they always checked and then he stayed updated. Once again, we have responsibilities too and key word "take some responsibility and take care of your own health care". Dr. Stephen Gunn is wonderful!!! To date I've had several interactions with multiple staff members and 2 consultations with Dr. Gunn. The experience for me has been extremely positive!!! Dr. Gunn is wonderful and everyone at Hedden Plastic Surgery genuinely seems to enjoy their jobs and it shows. I appears that all consultations are similar to what you'd see at your gynecologist, in regards to being alone with the doctor. There was always a nurse in the room with the doctor which helped provide a professional experience. Every employee that I interacted with was warm, approachable and knowledgeable. Amy, Caitlyn and Megan are a few staff members that I found exceptionally friendly. Not only was the staff nice to me, they were also nice to each other which helped create a comfortable and welcoming environment. They are very aware that what might be routine for them isn't routine to me. I am prone to high anxiety and Dr. Gunn clearly recognized that. He sat down, looked at my eyes and listened. He listened to my FULL questions and concerns without judgement, interruption or rushing me. The best way for me to control my anxiety is to communicate it directly to the doctor or nurse, so his ability to actively listen was essential for me to begin establishing trust for him. Dr. Gunn was direct when explaining the expected outcome as well as any risks or potential complications. He was respectful, compassionate and made me feel that no question was too small. I left knowing that I had realistic, accurate and educated expectations! I will be having surgery on 4/9. He helped ease my anxiety significantly and I'm starting to get more and more excited. I had a breast augmentation with Dr. William Hedden on July 12, 2017. I immediately knew that I would choose Dr. Hedden to perform my surgery during my initial search for doctors. I did my due diligence and met with doctors in Atlanta but my heart/head kept leading me to Dr. Hedden. As an out of state patient, I was immediately contacted by Heather, Out of State Patient Coordinator, and everything was smooth sailing from that point. Dr. LaBarbera is absolutely incredible. He performed an augmentation (350cc Saline) and lift on me. I went in to his office begging to "be put back to where I used to be" before having two children. He listened to me, took the time to show me pictures, and ask what I was comfortable with. The entire time before, during, and after the surgery he made me feel so comfortable. He was always a text or phone call away if I had the slightest bit of worry about my operation. I just finished my two month appointment and I could not be more amazed! I look exactly like I used to before having kids. I cried at my before and after pictures because it's like the man read my mind!! October 2017 Dr. LaBarbera performed a breast augmentation on me. He brought me from a flat chest to an outstanding DDcup! I received 525cc Saline implants at an unbeatable price! Only $3000!!! The technique used by Dr. Jude is excellent! By his professional knowledge and advice I chose submuscular placement... I feel as though he dissected my pectoral muscles intricately with Percision and care for the fact that I had hardly any pain but just soreness. I was back to my normal comfort level about one week post operation. On top of that my incisions are super neat and clean. The scarring left is discreet; it's truly amazing he done so exceptionally well with that. Additionally his professional manner is outstanding! I am out of town patient but he makes it a point to answer my emails promptly with descriptive information regarding the healing process and measures I should take. Surgery date 1/15/16! I have always had asymmetrical breast! I hated in middle school and high school. I even had a guy point it out! I always had trouble with finding a swim top or bra that fit. I would feel uncomfortable or tugging on my bra daily. I was a DDD on one side and a C cup on the other. After seeing Dr. Hedden and talking with him he told me I could do a lift/reduction to get them closer in size. I didn't want to be too small so I wanted to do an implant. After trying the sizers I decided to do a 255 silicone implant with my lift. Dr. Hedden was amazing he made sure that I understood that I would have scars and wanted to make sure I would be ok with them. After taking with my husband we decided to do it. My experience with Dr. Hedden was great from start to finish. I called to schedule a consultation and had my first appointment two weeks later. I was going to discuss breast augmentation. I didn't know what was best for me but after meeting him and talking for just a few minutes, he knew exactly what I needed and what would be best for me. That was a relief in itself because I was so nervous and I didn't want to make a bad decision. After discussing breast augmentation, I asked him about options for my stomach and he recommended a full tummy tuck. I went ahead and scheduled surgery for both and had a surgery date set for two weeks later. The experience from beginning to the end of surgery was very comforting. My experience with Dr. Hedden was more than I could have asked for. I've always wanted a breast augmentation, but have been hesitant over having plastic surgery. I finally decided to go for it after my last child and it was the best decision I could have made for myself. From consult to surgery was about a month because I was made to feel so comfortable. He took time to listen to what I wanted, made suggestions based off of what size I wanted to end up and my body type, and was 100% right. I am even happier than I thought I would be. I recently used Hedden Plastic Surgery for breast enhancement surgery. My doctor was Dr. Hedden, himself. I specifically chose him for this surgery because he was my surgeon in 2007, when he performed a full abdomenoplasty. I was very happy with the results. I was five years out of gastric bypass at the time and I had lost 110lbs. My weight then was 155. My weight now is 162. So, I have kept the weight off. However, my breasts were never very big - even when I weighed 240lbs. When I lost the weight, I also lost almost all of the volume that I DID have in my boobs. But I'm mom and so all kinds of other needs were prioritized first - it took 14 years, but I finally have the body/shape that I want. I'm not perfect and never expected to be. Dr. Hedden's skills have made me more confident and proportional, though. He's a great listener and an extremely talented surgeon. I've had zero complications. I had my TUBA (Trans-umbilical breast augmentation) done in 2013. My experience with Dr. Hedden and his staff was absolutely wonderful! I was always seen on time and the operation was very very smooth. I moved out of state and recently noticed something off one of my breasts. Since I couldn't make it to Alabama, Dr. Hedden did a facetime apt with me and figured our what was wrong rather quickly. I have set a date to go in for an in person appt to correct it. He was not rude about it whatsoever. I have recommended him to many of my friends who have in return used him as well with great results and experiences. I am baffled by the negative reviews but hope mine will show people to not believe everything you see. Give them a try yourself. I love Dr. Hedden and Dr. Gunn!!!!! Dr. Hedden did my breast augmentation a few years ago and they are beautiful! I was totally back on my normal schedule after a week and had minimal pain. Dr. Gunn just did my tummy tuck, lipo in 5 places and Brazilian butt lift. I am about 14 days out and still having significant pain, but I feel that it is due to my body holding fluid for some reason. The results that I can see so far are freaking amazing even with the swelling and fluid I'm holding. I was so stuck on Dr. Hedden when I first decided to do this procedure, but the more I spoke with Dr. Gunn the more I fell in love with him and how he cares about his patients. I am 14 days post-op from breast augmentation and adbominoplasty and I am so pleased with my results thus far. Dr. Hedden was very professional with me during my consultation and told me exactly what to expect after surgery. I am so glad he suggested to use Exparel (medication administered during surgery) for pain, and that I chose to spend a little extra for it. I had zero pain other than minor lower back ache from walking hunched over for a few days. The nursing staff were very friendly and caring. The only problem I had was getting confirmation that they had received my EKG results from another doctors office prior to surgery. That was just a minor organization/communication glitch. Dr Hedden is one of the best plastic surgeons I've ever met! He has done 2 surgeries on me and have been very pleased which I had some complications related to the first surgery that lead to the 2nd surgery, but the complication was out of mine and Dr Heddens hands its just something that happens with breast augmentations to certain people its called capsular contracture this is where scar tissue forms around the breast implant causing it to get hard, and In my case it got very hard (stage 4) and it had to be fixed, so I just recently had it fixed and had a breast lift. I had a Fraxel laser procedure and fat grafting to the face performed on November 5. I did not have a lot of pain from the laser, it kind of feels like a bad sunburn. I had a little difficulty sleeping because of the lotion you use to keep your face moist while it is healing is kind of sticky so you can't really lay with the side of your face on the pillow. The fat grafting was from a little bit of lipo on my waist so two birds with one stone! I was actually more sore from the little bit of lipo than any of the other treatments. I'm not ready for a face lift so the fat injections filled out my cheeks without any real down time. I still need a little Botox, but I'm pretty happy for someone who just turned 50!! read more

I definitely give Hedden and his entire staff 5 stars! I am so pleased with my results from BA and couldn't have been treated nicer or more professional.
