Most were basically OTC-level meds that would've required another $300+ appointment to get. Absolute scam. They're still sending me bills for that one visit, and I think I'm up to $700+ now. No X-rays, no testing, nothing, just a basic visit.

Although Dr. Clarke noted my complaints with using a CPAP and BIPAP, she totally disregarded them afterwards. Dr. Clarke also wrongly stated CDL drivers have to show compliance for all levels of Sleep Apnea. The FMCSA website states that only CDL drivers with moderate to severe Sleep Apnea have to show compliance with a machine. Dr. Clarke also mentioned modifying my current BIPAP back into a CPAP although I told her neither one was comfortable nor felt like was helping or actually needed. Dr. Clarke also questioned wether I lost weight recently although she could see my current weight matched my weight from my records from the previous Doctor. I didn't know it then but it was because I wasn't a candidate for Sleep Apnea according to the FMCSA.

Fast forward 30 years later, I am back in Lafayette, my home town which I'm for the most part allergic to, and I am the patient of his son, Dr. Ryan Chastant. The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. Both Drs. Chastant have a remarkable way of dealing with patients. They are both, warm, friendly, empathetic and so knowledgeable. Their staff are exactly the same. Friendly, courteous and always treat you as if you were their only patient. I've never felt I was in any better hands than these. I actually enjoy going to this Doctor's office.
