He quickly answered questions we had regarding shipping/delivering the equipment and I agreed to purchase for $4,250. Received an invoice from 'Michael Oatsvall' with instructions to send wire transfer. Funds were successfully transfered as instructed 9/11/2019. Patrick had said it could take 3 to 5 days for the paperwork and delivery details to be completed, so waited about 6 days and started trying to contact Patrick. Any previous visits to the website - marcyautosales.com - would instantly trigger a 'chat' session. Now, however, there is no response to my chat sessions. No replies to emails. Phone calls to 406.944.1414 are answered by 'google voice' but no one responds. Another contact number 406.346.3473 is 'no longer in service'. Hauled it the 80 miles to them and parts guy said he can't do anything without a receipt even though he knows darn well it came from there and it shouldn't matter anyway since it's a Ford battery with a nationwide warranty. I would understand if something appeared out of place in addition to not having any receipt, but it even still has the date of manufacture on it which proves it's inside of the warranty period and being a long established customer should help I'd think. It's 2024, people don't carry paper receipts around for their batteries from 2 years ago. I've not been to a business in 15 years that doesn't have every transaction stored under the customer name on their computer anyways. It's sad they were willing to throw away so many years of past and future purchases simply over a battery that's under warranty still. I was just getting ready to buy a new bale bed pickup before year end too. Called the next nearest dealer to me upon leaving the building and they said bring the battery in, no problem to warranty, they would stand behind it. I felt bad for raising my voice upon leaving, but the parts guy couldn't help but make a comment when I turned to walk away with my bad battery (which in their defense I've never had happen with the folks here before.) None the less I pulled up to the chevy dealer went to parts and right away this place dropped what they were doin to help me...hmmmm ! small town greetings in a way I guess..the parts guy came out took the vin and did a search on warranty and found out it's still under warranty.....so far I'm blowin away at them helping me right away... Then they asked for the keys put it into the shop and started tests..found a bad hose, put in an over night order for the part and scheduled me in for friday... All free...no charge. :) I'll be here till sunday so that works perfect.... We thene went in to Kia to get our reimbursement of insurance, gap, service insurance and two or three other prepaid items, for the sold vehicle. We have now been waiting FIVE months for the reimbursements, in the five months they have ignored my phone calls, They have changed the contact person and did not notify me. I call one or two times a day, but they do not seem to care, They are absolutely ridiculous, I am now forced to go to the State Department monitoring Auto dealerships to get support. It has been a lot of work and stress to just receive a reimbursement, due back to me by law! They certainly had no problem charging me will over $6000.00 good morning for these items during the purchase.
