So far, HEB has exceeded my expectations on most everything from the shopping experience to prices. The location is great right off of IH 10. This location seems to be the heart and soul of Mont Belvieu. The layout is wonderful. Everything is easy to find, and the selection is top-notch with an emphasis on Texas centric products. My only gripes are the prices of fresh meat and seafood. They seem to be a bit high, considering the inflation is coming down everywhere. I also wanted to try the Mi Tienda tamales and found them overpriced, and the masa overpowered with cumin almost inedible. I love the Boars Head selection in the deli, and the bakery does a great job with baked goods. The gas station in the parking lot is very convenient, and I find the car wash very efficient and decent priced. Overall, HEB is a pretty good place to shop! read more

First time at this HEB. Lots of empty space. I'm sure it is because of the storm. Empty empty. Staff seemed very helpful through. Wine guy was on point for sure. Knew his products and knew where they all were. Reason for the three stars is the parking arrangement. What a mess. Poorly designed for entrance and exit flow. Turns and dead ends cause for lots of traffic and confusion to get in or out. Also during COVID I normally see HEB cleaning baskets after use by customers. But not the case at this location. Made me a little uneasy. I decided to wear my gloves. Over all could be better. I miss my HEB on San Felipe. read more

Fuel prices are good but almost all card readers are broke. They never replace the hose filters so it takes 30 minutes to pump 20 gallons of gas. read more

I love HEB in Mont Belvieu, I'm there almost everyday. The people are friendly and helpful. Prices are good and the store is always clean. The cake I got - which was a white cake with strawberry buttercream frosting- was loved by everyone at work! We were able to get 16 slices out of the 10inch cake which fed most of us. My favorite part was that I was able to get my cake and back inside my car in 7 minutes. read more

This is the absolute worst example of customer service I've ever seen. When it comes to how they treat you and talk to you, it's worse that Comcast or the DMV. I understand the sign said 10 items in the self checkout, and I had 14.... but there was no line and 4 or 5 open registers. It was closest to the door I came in at and wanted to quickly check out and go. I got approached by the 2 girls chatting and told I had to go to a register. I asked for a manager.... and here's where you say "why make a fuss. What's the big deal" The big deal is that customer service and appreciation is all but non existent. I have been a loyal heb customer for years, the closest one is 22 miles from my house, and I still make the drive. The manager came up and just said exactly what the other girls said. So I left. I called customer service for the store and was told by the girl that answered that they absolutely will not allow more than 10 items in self check out. I ran thru several "what if" scenarios, to which she repeatedly replied "at our store, we train our partners to not allow self checkout of more than 10 items" It is was it is. It's been I good run, but I'll just pay the higher prices at my local small town grocery from now on. But I will continue to spread the word about how you treat your customers. read more

H‑E‑B is the best, this location is great. Employees are nice, they are helpful. Always on time with curbside. I don't want to wear a mask, and I'm sure a lot of the employees don't like wearing it either. All these negative reviews because of the lack of masks, should realize this is a more conservative, common sense area. Go to Whole Foods. read more

This store is a cesspool! No one enforcing mask wearing. In fact, they don't even have signage about wearing a mask. Very few patrons wearing masks, and most give you a judgmental look for wearing one. I felt very unsafe just popping in for one item. Disgusting and dangerous. Don't listen to the 5 star comments because they're from the workers or friends of the workers there. They are rude AF and don't enforce the mask that is mandatory. When you call them out on it they are rude and that includes these so called wannabe managers. Then when you call the corporate office to let them know that this location is in direct violation of the mandate ordered by Texas governor Greg Abbott; they just look at you and laugh their butts off thinking that they're above the law, the governor, CDC, and others. I even caught one of the workers wearing a chin strap (mask only on their chin) and their lazy ass excuse is that they have asthma and I know that it's a lie because I have asthma and have since I was a little kid. I love H‑E‑B. The employees are so nice, and unlike many other stores - they actually have employees. A little self service is ok if you are a buying just a couple of items. But I mainly love H‑E‑B because they always have checkers and baggers in their lines. Who wants to self service a cart full of groceries? We winter in Crystal Beach, an hour down the road from this store. We make the trip regularly. Have found the store always clean, the staff helpful and on target. I'm sure recent weather in the area affected performance and merchandise availability, as it did all businesses in west Texas. This store rebounded as well as can be expected. Poor Parking lot design . Too much landscaping and one way parking isles make create traffic jams. Mont belvieu really needs another grocery store option because this H‑E‑B is having a hard time keeping up. read more

I love HEB! I can get most everything I need, when it comes to grocery, there. I recently made several attempts to reach the e-store at the Dowling Rd location. I intend to have can goods delivered to Southeast Texas Food Bank. Each time I called HEB I was transferred to the E-store but never got a answer. I'm hoping for better results in the future. I freaking love to shop here. My favorite service is the curbside pickup. I'm a shift worker and so is my bf. Between work and having kids this makes grocery shopping simple. This used to be my go to store when it came to food, I literally used to live off of eating snack trays everyday and used to think they were bomb but just last week I found a hair in my tray! It was very long and had to pull it out of my mouth! Now I can't trust their store made trays and have fear this will happen again. read more

I purchased some snow crab legs at Mont Belvieu H-E-B and after steaming them I noticed they smelled very strongly of ammonia. I returned the crab legs to the store and the seafood manager came to speak to us and agreed the crab legs were bad. He explained to us that they keep a cook log to ensure fresh seafood but someone didn't update the log....they refunded my money but did not offer to replace the crab. I had purchased the crab legs along with some ribeye steaks to plan a nice dinner for my boyfriends birthday. We had to stop the preparations for dinner to return the crab. You are exactly right MONT BELVIEU H-E-B...... no store does more to ruin a special dinner for a loved one. Thanks so much!! read more
