Heavenly Thai has a small but impressive menu for a food truck that made me really curious about their kitchen setup. There are several varied techniques across these dishes that can be handled by a single wok alone but would require a seasoned culinary individual to churn out in a timely fashion. As curious as I was, abating my hunger soon took over my thoughts. After ordering the Pad Thai, Koo-Pad House Fried Rice, and Garlic Shrimp, I returned to my car to shelter from the chill I'm unaccustomed to. It didn't take long before the food was ready (about 15 minutes) and I tore into it like a hungry wolf after a long hunt. Despite being *this* hungry, I didn't find the food anywhere great but a rather shrug-okay-ish. Having seen the other stellar reviews on Yelp, I'm assuming that today isn't one of their high performing days. However, I must say that the gargantuan portion size for the decent prices made up for the okay flavors. It did it's job and I'd say I'd give them a shot again whenever I'm in the area again. (I failed to take a photo of the garlic shrimp out of an overexcitement to binge.) If you do like Thai-style garlic shrimp, this may be the place for you to go. Shrimp after shrimp after shrimp tails piled up on the side as we dug in. Geez, I obviously didn't expect this much shrimp to be in one entree so it was a really pleasant surprise. read more

The food was excellent! I was limited due to dietary restrictions. Pad Thai was the only thing that could be made gluten free. Pad Thai not being my favorite thing they offered to make something else without soy sauce and still with flavor for me. It turned out perfect! The guy working the window was extremely rude. After being told they didn't have what I wanted he yelled at me saying what do you what. after placing my order I waited close to 40 minutes because my buzzer never went off. when I asked about my order again I was again yelled at and told I was buzzed a long time ago and the reason I didn't go off was because I walked to far away. which was not the case since I stood next to the truck the entire time and was not told not to go more than 5 ft away. The good was as salty as the guy working the window. The vehicle is rusty and looks worn down inside. grease hangs down the AC vent on the back of the truck like slime. We placed a large order (25 people) last minute (less than 24 hr notice) and Heavenly Thai totally came through for us above and beyond our expectations! The chicken pad thai was spiced perfectly with just a hint of sweet at the end. The Thai rice was cooked well (not sticky or gummy) and full of flavor. We were disappointed in the food here. We heard from multiple people that this food cart was great. I ordered the Drunken Noodles. They were very bland. Not much flavor at all. I ordered level 4 spicy and it barely had much warmth to it. My wife got the Wok Fried Rice and had the same concern, no flavor. The only bright spot was the fried spring rolls. Very tasty, well balanced and toasted perfectly. We were excited to find another Thai place in town with tasty food. Unfortunately this was not it. Absolutely fabulous!!! I noticed the food truck set up near my hotel and decided to try it out. I ordered a green curry with tofu. In just a few minutes, I had an ENORMOUS container of rich, flavorful curry. Silky eggplant, crispy green beans, and perfectly fried tofu were swimming in a smooth, well-balanced coconut cream with just enough spice. I have been there 3 times already. I have gotten the Ka Pow and Pad Thai. Huge portions and the food tastes great. Very nice folks working the truck. They have even gotten out and brought it to my car while I waited and lost track of time. For around $8-$9 I don't think you can beat the price for the portion. I went to Heavenly Thai in Klamath Falls and had some Pad tai and Angle Wings it was amazing. They have a great menu and there prices are very resonable for how much food you get. The people nice and service good, but the noodles were either a different type or a different cut from what traditional drunken noodles are usually. Have been in Klamath Falls for the last 5 months and only now discovered this food truck. I ordered the Drunken Noodles and it was fabulous! Flavorful, enormous portions, and cooked to order. I was asked how hot I wanted it on a scale of 1-5. I chose 4 and it was pretty spicy (Of course, on a cold snowy day it was perfect but I think a 3 would be my choice next time.).They also offer a choice of proteins (chicken, pork, beef, shrimp, or tofu.
