Heavenly Sleep Shoppe is a great locally owned option for those shopping for bed needs, especially those with a tighter budget like myself. Staff is outstanding, personable and friendly both times we've come here. We had come here pre-shut down, so around 2018/2019 to get the bunk bed my oldest had wanted. We hadn't needed to shop for a bed for my youngest due to timing working out that we had my nieces crib/mattress, a friends car bed for his toddler stage, and my in-laws moved out of state in 2020, they gave us their guest room twin bed so they didn't have to haul it with them. Though that twin bed didn't come with a mattress for the pull out. We finally decided to find a 7' mattress for the pull out this year and remembered Heavenly sleep shop when we were pricing out our choices. They had two options that worked for us at $100 & $80, both good options for a mattress that won't see regular use but not as thin & uncomfortable options that we had seen for similar prices at places like Ikea. My 8 year old has been obsessed with the fact he now has a bed under his bed, and has regularly been pulling out the pull out to hang out on when playing video games or watching a show. I haven't had the chance to shop in person at Heavenly Sleep Shoppe, but I know they go the extra mile for their customers. Here's why: I have a mattress I love, but since it's time for a replacement, I discovered that the mattress factory moved from California to Texas and that my specific model is no longer available. I called a few places in Texas that carry this brand to ask what the closest mattress would be to what I currently have, and Jim at Heavenly Sleep Shoppe went above and beyond to assist me. He contacted the manufacturer on my behalf and called me back with their response! Moreover, he patiently answered all my questions about mattresses, explaining the differences and the meanings of various terms. His explanations were incredibly informative and helpful. We have been customers of heavenly sleep shoppe since 2011 when we bought our son his first twin sized bed, and have been going ever since! From our now daughters bunk beds, to my moms mattress, and even some bean bags they have been amazing! Even most recently we just upgraded to a new king size mattress and frame and it just didn't feel quite like we thought it would, but their personnel were amazing at taking care of us and finding the right one that would truly fit our needs based on our feedback and quickly got us taken care of. I got my mattress back in October 2021 because of my back and neck problems. I want them gone ,it was nice while it last, 6 months later my mattress now has body prints on my wife side of the bed and my side as well, I have spoke to Owner and I get told to talk to Danielle , after I send to them pictures of my bed. They came to my house to make a report and take more pictures they say we will contact you next week. I spent close to $5000 dollars on a mattress a bed frame ,a 2 dressers and a mirror ,long story short , today is 05/05/2022 and my back is worst then before ,I been waiting for a week for a text so that I can send more pictures but so far no text. Costumer care at this place is , well I think they don't even CARE for people that do business with locals, I wake up with pain on my neck and back every morning. They truly are the "nobody that sells for less"! I bought a pillow top king size mattress from them brand new for $499! I just laugh when I see commercials advertising a smaller size mattress for $2000 and up! And they treat you like a respected human being! They're not "overly friendly" like so many people who are obviously out to earn some kind of commission that make you want to run away. They are the epitome of helpful - you will actually want to talk with them! Why would anyone want to give strange people $2000+ for sub-quality merchandise when you could give nice, down-to-earth people $500 for top quality merchandise? I was sleeping on a 15+ year old mattress that was just awful. So, I started shopping around for a new one around Black Friday hoping I could get a high quality mattress at a discounted price. I had several friends and family members refer me to Sleep Experts so that was my first stop. I laid on the computerized bed that tells you what kind of mattress you need and then shopped around the store. I walked out thinking that I had come across a great deal being quoted $1799 for a King Mattress and boxspring (keep in mind that didn't include a frame or mattress cover). A day later I went to Heavenly Sleep Shoppe to look for a nice headboard/bed for my new mattress. Justin was so patient with me and I saw the mattresses were a lot less expensive here so I looked around and sat on a few. I ended up walking out with a whole new bedroom! Bed, Dresser with mirror, 2 nightstands, and the mattress and boxsprings (that had the same 10 year warranty) for $200 less than I was quoted for just the mattress set at the big name store. The guys came and delivered and assembled everything for me and the furniture is really beautiful. My bed is amazing, I fall asleep on my back which I have never been able to do before because it just wasn't comfortable. I'm hoping to go back in a few months and get the matching chest of drawers and media stand so everything will match. This will be my go-to place for furniture in the future. Great customer service, nice furniture that won't break the bank, and small local business . I will be telling everyone I hear talking about needing a new bed to go check these guys out. My husband and my two young children and I came to the store knowing exactly what we wanted so I knew it shouldn't take too long. We were greeted after a few minutes while Jim was talking to other customers that were already there. When he came to us we were the only ones in the store. We told him exactly what we wanted and even picked it out in the book they had in-store. Soon after a caucasian family walked in he greeted them immediately and told us "hey let me help these folks really quick" we waited and waited while he stood there talking to this other family. I asked my husband "so he's just going to help them while we stand here and not come back?" Im 7 months pregnant so I really didn't want to stand there for too long. We knew what we wanted so why couldn't he just finish up with us so that we could be on our way? I know that when other customers come in it's only right to greet them but he just totally ignored us after they walked in and never came back to us. You know it's wrong when your child asks "mommy why did he stop talking to us?" I was ready to just take my money/business elsewhere then a woman came out and spoke to us and got us together. I really was about to tell him how rude he was and how I felt however with me being 7 months pregnant I didn't even want to waste my energy. Customer service is EVERYTHING to me and if I have a bad experience then that's it. My mom and 2 sisters were looking for a place to buy a mattress/bed set this won't be the place that I will recommend for them. I have been buying from Jim and Heavenly Sleep Shoppe since 1987. Started with a King size waterbed and several mattresses and heaters over the years. Finally decided to make the change to a King size Pillow top by Golden (local manufacturer). I thought after 25 years on a waterbed that I couldn't make the switch, but with expert help from Jim , after listening to my needs, I got the bed with just the right amount of softness. Flash forward several years and I decided to downsize to a Queen and try a hybrid, so now I have a Sealy Copper II Plush. Part of the reason for picking this bed is for the 90 day comfort guarantee. Getting used to the hybrid has been a challenge, but if it doesn't work out I know exchanging it will be hassel free. Jim and Danielle really know their stuff and you can tell when you talk to them that they enjoy what they do, are very knowledgeable, and want the best for each customer based on their preferences. There is a reason this place is "cheaper" than others. Their mattress don't last. We bought 3 mattress and two bunk beds from this place- all in one big purchase. After 1-2 years, our mattress started caving in on both sides. My husband and I are basically sleeping in a canoe. We knew it was under warranty so we called and they sent someone out to inspect our mattress. The men looked at it for a good 30 seconds and said, "oh yeah" you qualify for a new one. Week or so later were told they can't replace it because of a TINY stain on the mattress. They didn't care one bit-, they made their money. Well, we have plenty of mattresses to buy in the future with three children and won't be coming back. My parents wanted to get their mattress here and I pointed them away from this place! For those who can relate to being a single Mom, I'm always out looking for the best deal. Most of the time, that means getting poor quality items or having to deal with rude sale people that don't care about you - they only care about making money. So, I've been searching for a bunk bed or trundle bed for my son for several months and everywhere I've priced was way out of my budget. I pass by Heavenly Sleep Shoppe daily so I decided to give it a try but with the expectations that this store would be like any other, expensive, no choices and rude sales people. Instead, I was greeted by the owner, Jim. Right away, I felt comfortable to look around, ask questions, and take my time. Jim was so friendly and never pushed any piece of furniture on me. I appreciate that because I don't like to feel pressured and rushed. It was also pleasant because the music playing in the store was Christian music, which meant a lot to me. After discussing layaway options, Jim stayed open a few minutes past the store hours just to answer a few more of my questions, I was able to decide which bed to buy. I did not purchase the bed today, but I know that I will not go anywhere else. The prices on the furniture was affordable and the quality of furniture was of my standards. Overall, the store was nice, the prices are right, and the owner is one of a kind business man! I will never buy a bed from anyone else again! My husband and I stopped in the Heavenly sleep shop on our way to a well know clearance mattress store, knowing we would end up with a used refurbished matteress but thought that was going to be all we would be able to afford. Walking into Heavenly was a blessing! Not only did we end up with a brand new mattress, it was a hybrid name brand top of the line just like we wanted! Jim was the nicest most easy going, eager to please gentleman I've ever worked with . We were in and out in less than an hour.
