Being an American we are experts in the realm of milk shakes. We are hard to satisfy in this category. You can also say the same for burgers. I enjoyed the environment of Kaspa's, and the customer service was good, but the magic is in their Milk Shakes. It is the best shake I have ever had in the U.K.. If you have to get a shake fix, Kaspa's is the only place I recommend in the U.K.. They have other locations, and when I visit from the States I will never except a shake unless it comes from Kaspa's. You can take my words to the bank, and if you ever see me at Kaspa's I will buy you a shake :)

The restaurant is very clean and well presented, the staff are friendly and helpful. The atmosphere isn't deafening - like another similar local business is. The desserts are a mixture of freshly made on site, ready prepared shipped in from the larger company and bought to sell. The range and choice is fantastically huge with lots of options, just what you want in a dessert shop. My only gripe is that on the soda floats menu they don't offer the one and only original with root beer (not alcoholic), when they do it will be dessert shop perfection for me outside of London. On our last visit my son was able to take home, that which he couldn't consume from over indulgence.

They sell locally produced ice cream, which is what they're known for most, although they have a delicious breakfast and lunch menu, including the usual croque-monsiers, crepes, homemade soups (mmmm) and teacakes. I arrived to collect my order at 11.30am. The restaurant was closed and locked and no one answered the phone. I waited for twenty-five minutes for someone to show up but no one did. I left at 11.55. The restaurant was still closed and locked. I hope and expect that they will refund my order at their earliest convenience. I will not be buying from this restaurant again.
