I've had one or two wax treatments from Julie, who chat's to you like an old friend throughout. Julie also offers an array of other services; massage, including aromatherapy, and facials that include treatments for acne, sensitive skin, anti ageing or something simply to hydrate tired skin. There is also the option of hand and feet care including the obligatory manicures and pedicures although that's not my thing. There are also tanning treatments and products to available, all of which you can discuss with Julie.

When I got there, they measured my body taking note of my current body size and started to wrap me up using bandages soaked in what can only be described as clay like substance. They were left on for around 60 minutes whilst I was left to lie on the bed and relax. Although the inch loss isn't permanent but a good start to a healthy diet, when I was measured I had lost 6 inches from different parts of my body. Great treatment if you want to feel extra special.

I booked a pamper package here, using a KGB deal…read more Aruba Beauty have been at this site for 10 years, but i had no idea they existed as they are above the tanning centre, so you have to walk in past the tanning cubicles, then you'll see the stairs to their salon. I assumed the treatment rooms would be quite small however i was pleasantly surprised to find that they were a very decent size! My therapist Hannah, was lovely and immediately made me feel relaxed and comfortable. I had a back neck and shoulder massage, which was amazing, i could really feel the difference....it did get quite painful at one point as i had ALOT of knots in my shoulders but she got them all out and my back felt so much looser afterwards, so she did a brilliant job! Next i had a facial which made my skin feel really fresh and soft and. I was very impressed that Hannah was very knowledgeable, i assumed i had a few whiteheads on my face, she told me straight away its Milia and its very common and how to get rid of them. Lastly i had a manicure and polish, they use OPI polish and there was a good selection of colors available, so its almost been a week now and only minor chips on the tips of a few nails. Hannah told me to take my car keys out before she put the polish on, after the polish was applied she passed me my keys and put my bag on my shoulder for me so that my nails wouldn't get ruined, which was very sweet of her. All in all it was a fabulous experience, and I've found my new local masseuse. Can't find any fault, or negative things to say , so five stars it is!

She is chatty and friendly and good at what she does. My only niggle was that the room was quite cold... and when you're having to remove layers of clothes and lie on a bed with just a blanket over, raising the room temperature is a must! The heater in the room didn't cut the mustard unfortunately. Still, I pointed this out and was compensated with extra blankets which took the bite off, but the building and the sub-zero temperatures outside was the main cause of the problem. Happy to recommend this place to others in the area and, like the other reviewer said, you have to go into the tanning place and up the stairs to get to this. But call to make an appointment and the rest is a breeze.

As it was my first time visiting I was asked to complete a short form in the tranquil relaxation area. I felt relaxed already! I was then taken through to one of the six treatment rooms ready for my 25 minute facial. Let's me tell you guys and gals this was the best facial ever! Relaxing and each of the ESPA products were divine. My skin was soft like a baby's bum after! The therapist was knowledgable about the products she used on my skin, and asked about my skin care routine to find out what would suit be best. A list of the products was given, so that I could make a future purchase. Would happily recommend this place to others.

Thereafter, during the full body scrub and spa treatment, I felt it was a rushed affair with the 60 minute session completed in 50 minutes, towards the end I felt the masseuse was falling short of enough oil to massage and it was almost dry and I had to remind her that she has left out the abdominal area. I also kept requesting for increased pressure during massage but it just wasn't enough! On constant reminder that my package included a bath soak, my masseuse kept refusing and later the receptionist confirmed that she had forgotten to inform the masseuse. I was later compensated by a joint soak with my husband where we were crammed up in a corner bathtub so neither of us enjoyed the soak and eventually were left feeling rather disappointed than rejuvenated. :( I hope the team works more diligently on customer service.
