FANTASTICO...!!! I love this place! From the moment I walked in, I knew I liked these people, and that Heath Marketplace was gonna be an excellent spot. Rick and Natalie, the owners, are warm, friendly, helpful, and run a solid eatery. They've got an incredible variety of freshly made meals. They grow their own vegetables. And every meal I've had has been a hit! And the portions are. HEARTY. I'm 6 foot one and 200 pounds, and I eat a lot, I can easily get two meals out of one of their wedgies. I went to Heath Marketplace today for lunch. Since it was Monday it was burrito bowl day and I was told they were delicious so I decided to give it a try. The staff is very friendly and quick! I was in and out in 5 minutes or less which is perfect if you're at work and don't want to go to a fast food restaurant for lunch. I ordered the large burrito bowl they asked mild or hot sauce so I got hot. The large is the perfect size for the $7.29 price tag. It had chicken in it which had a really good seasoning on it. Kinda sweet with a touch of spice. Rice with what tasted like cilantro in it. Corn, black beans, cheese and tomatoes with sour cream, salsa and the hot sauce. Perfect quick lunch. I love this place. They have amazing food and amazing service. My favorite thing to order is the wedge. I would do anything for that to be available all week long but sadly it is only a Friday thing. But other then that these people are amazing and so kindhearted. I don't think they would remember but I do, but When I was a kid I had an African tortoise and they would give me lettuce for him free of charge once a week as long as I showed pictures. Had the Chicken Weggie today. My goodness thats so good w all the trimmings; mozzarella melted, onions, tomatoes and lettuce on a toasted wedge bread and garlic ranch sauce. One sandwich is so big its great for two, but you wish you'd ordered two. If Anthony Bourdain were here he'd do a segment on Heath's. Its that good. Everything is top quality made to oder. You can stop in and choose from fruits, vegetables, baked goods, plants, regional foodstuffs, dry goods, and some health-food products. They carry a small variety and change with the seasons. The best thing is they offer a daily menu of prepared foods you can buy and bring home for lunch or dinner (soups, sandwiches, dinners). They maintain a calendar of daily specials on their Facebook page. This is a small family-run business that I just love supporting. Everyone is very friendly every time I visit. You take a risk with such a small variety, but it's a lovely place to explore and see what sounds good and to, perhaps, try something new. read more
