Best audiologist anywhere, and a very accommodating staff as well. Try it, you'll like it.

They never really seem to know what is going on, and I will call for something important, and whomever I speak with generally seems completely competent, as well as very polite and sweet, but then I will come to find out that they never put in the message, communicated with the doctor, etc. For example, I had wanted a RAST (allergy blood test) for a while and when I saw Dr. Tipirneni the first time for something different, he did me a favor by writing me the order for the lab, since I needed one to get it done. Unfortunately, upon arrival at the blood lab, it turned out that the specific panels were not written on the order and I couldn't request them personally since it had to come from a doctor. Since at the time, the staff was on their lunch break, I had the lab draw my blood and figured I would call the office in a few hours when they were open and have the panels sent over. However, instead what happened was 5 days of calls until I was finally able to get a hold of someone at the front desk who said she had just taken care of it, and scheduled an appointment for me to review the results. A few weeks later when I finally went for the appointment, the nurse told me no such labs had been sent over, and were, in fact, never done, and there was no record from any receptionist who specifically told me she had taken care of it. This nurse then told me that Dr. Tipirneni doesn't write orders for RASTs, to which I responded "well, he did." Very frustrating. Additionally, I find the one receptionist, Elena extremely rude and condescending. She spoke to me rudely and then proceeded to do something I specifically asked her not to do, and had gotten taken care of through another receptionist, who was far more friendly and polite. I have also had bad experiences with their answering service. They are even more incompetent than the receptionists, which is expected, but very aggravating. I have left detailed, time-sensitive messages with the answering service, that never got sent. Additionally, they are typically not personable at all. It simply seems to be a case of the office not communicating amongst themselves. It is very aggravating to have an office be so poorly run, especially when the doctor himself is so competent, since I don't want to leave to find another practitioner. Perhaps I will try the Winter Park office next time and hope they are more competent.

The specialists in the organization are amazing listeners, proactively caring, and, most importantly, know what they're doing. I fully committed to Miracle Ear Altamonte Springs when Jessica Castillo was able to accurately deduce that the receiver wire of my previous hearing aids were too thick for my condition. I decided to buy a new pair through the organization, and it is the best decision I have made this year. Katie Stein has been the main specialist who has worked with me in the organization, and she has been so incredibly accommodating. From the very beginning, she was very detailed and patient in answering the questions I posed. From encouraging me to try out different versions of the hearing aids before I bought them, to sculpting molds, to sourcing some of the problems I was having after I bought them (eg: battery issue), then cleaning them without my asking, her customer service has just been out of this world. We will miss you, Katie! The overall atmosphere, from the front desk to the in-office services, is very warm and welcoming.

When they checked my insurance, I was informed that I had had excellent coverage, but Miracle Ear was not included. Jessica recommended I check with my insurance company to see where else I could get help and insurance coverage. That, to me, was a mark of true care for her patients. She knew I would most likely not spend thousands of dollars with her when I could get much of it covered with another provider. Kudos to this location for being honest and caring!

Their website reflected a fairly large experienced staff. The office staff are pleasant, and they have the option to provide your history via a portal or complete it in the office. If not doing the portal, they recommend you come early to your appointment. The registration of your medical history is a little long going through your family history, on eating / drinking habits and medications. Next, the hearing test with the audiologist where there is a look at ear drums, testing the left/ right ear for various sound pitches, and if you can hear/ repeat certain words. The audiologist Jane was very kind and personable. After the hearing test, you go back out to wait to see another person I think ot is the physian assistant so I waited in a very bright room so I was glad I had my sunglasses. I encouraged the hubby to go as well and were able to have our physician visit together. All is well with some slight precautions and we go back next year! So overall a good experience.

One reason was that I took some medications that I shouldn't have, but they also messed up the appointment as I was supposed to have two tests, and both couldn't be done by the same person as she wasn't qualified. She said she sent texts reminding me of the list for prep, but all I received was notice that I had an appointment and there was no attachment. Even if I didn't take the meds, I couldn't have completed the test because they couldn't do both. So she rescheduled for Friday the next week, and my husband was there and confirmed it. I get SO many text messages from them I didn't check it but there was another text a couple days ago that said my appointment was Wednesday. Of course, I missed that appointment too. Now I have to pay a $75 deposit (new policy) even though I don't have a co-pay and I have to wait until someone will call me to get my credit card info and THEN we can try to schedule. I don't trust them to schedule it correctly since they already have two strikes against them. If I wasn't so far into this testing already, I would change providers and try someone else. God only knows when they will bother to call me back to get that deposit so we can schedule the appointment again. I assume I will get that "deposit" back once the tests have been completed. As soon as this is over, I'm getting a new ENT. Unfortunately, I've used this brand for about 40 years starting with Dr Coleman, and Dr Ho with my kids.

My grandma (who is italian) asked me to find a specialist in the US to help with her hearing loss. She had spent thousands on hearing aids back home and they did not help. I found this place, called and Laura was extremely kind and scheduled an appt for us. My grandmother is 86, cannot hear and doesn't speak english. We arrived on time and patiently waited for over an hour for Dr. Taylor. When we were finally called in, immediately I explained to him she didn't speak english, and so I'd have to translate everything. I won't go into details, but he was one of the rudest, most obnoxious, least patient people I've ever met. His tone and attitude indicated either extreme bad mood or simply an issue with his temperament. He was rushing us, wouldn't allow me to explain to my grandmother what was happening. He became especially rude when we told him she wasn't dropping $4000 for a hearing aid until we made sure it was working and she could hear. He wasn't having it... After he yelled at grandma for the 3rd time because she wasn't following his instructions, I had had enough, so we got up and walked out. It was beyond upsetting to see how he was treating my grandma. Unacceptable. To make a long story short(er), we eventually went back in a few days later after Laura (who is a sweetheart) reached out to us and apologized profoundly. Since this was about helping my grandma, I put my frustration with his behavior behind. He apologized immensely when we arrived, but quickly his temper and rude behavior came back; it's astonishing that someone who works with elders could be so short-tempered and rude. I would not recommend him to my worst enemy. They have other "branches", choose another one. In the end though, my grandma purchased hearing aids, and has been living happy, able to hear again. UPDATE: Go to their branch in Winder Garden! Better treatment, fantastic doctor and kind staff.
