Hearthstone Care is a Senior Social Day Care Center for elders with Alzheimer and Dementia. Located at 1187 rt 23A in Catskill New York. We provide meaningful, supervised activities for frail elders as well as assistance with daily living activities in our 6000 sq.ft, newly renovated facility. We offer a nutritious lunch daily and transportation is available. Our "cutting edge" Intergenerational Program provides interaction between the young and the old. Hearthstone Care is based on the philosophy that each individual has a need and a capacity for growth, which does not diminish with age; that socialization helps to prevent depression, loneliness and premature institutionalization; and that supportive services in a caring environment can enable people with functional impairments to live their lives fully. Hearthstone Care is a structured group activity program designed to provide life enrichment opportunities for its participants. At the same time, we are providing care-givers a respite from their care giving responsibilities, which is so important! Our mission is to help support families while meeting the needs of their elder loved ones.

Meet the Business Owner: Donna C.

Our team consist of professionals in their fields. Program Director Donna Craft is a professional RN, with over 30 years of experience of managing several housings for mentally challenged people, as well as daily medical supervision in senior's assisted home livings. Donna is a very caring person, who always wants to help. Our Program Coordinator Donna Christensen, is bringing joy to day-2-day operation. She is designing daily activities around our participants needs. She is also specializing in inter generational programs and bring new excitements every day. General Manager Vitaliy Bobkov is eager to help to accommodate all your needs in our facility. Professional in many fields of operation, he constantly working on improvements and new ideas.
