I had to cancel on a same day appointment for a legit reason, and they charged full payment hours before the appointment was scheduled. Its like they're giddy to make a free buck. After I paid for a different session both me and my partner were still contacted multiple times about payment. It seems like there's a complete absence of any system of billing, tracking payment, etc. Similar to another reviewer, we paid $180, with a hard stop at 45 minutes. We stopped going, mostly due to the odd vibe of the place when it came to money. I understand it's a business, but maybe go about it in a way that feels like clients' well-being is also a goal. He doesn't have his license. He doesn't know how to treat a person with PTSD and when I tried to answer his questions he kept telling me to tone my voice down and stop using negative words about myself. That may not sound like a big deal but it was my third session. I've never been treated for PTSD before. When he told me for the last time to lower my voice I shut down and said I had to leave. He would not let me leave the office ordered me to stay. I finally just got up and left. The next day He apologized and said he was getting ahead of himself and realized I have trauma I need to release. It was only my third session he didn't give me any coping skills to work on until this week. He also kept telling me to go to a psychiatrist for my med check and would forget and not give me a name. So yesterday day he left the country and I text him to give me the name so I can make an appointment. I also emailed his clinical director Dr. Bernadette Pivarunas to see if she could help give me a name of someone I can make an appointment with. She sent an email and accused me of all types of inappropriate behavior and will no longer serve me. They terminated my appointments with them. They left me out in the cold and wanted me to act like I didn't have PTSD when I am in therapy. She said I was abusive, unaccountable for my behavior and all types of other things. My whole point of posting this is that this organization I learned today has other complaints against this Bernadette person. If you are seeking mental health support this is not the place to go for it. Now I am in a worse place from it and have to seek new support. Please be cautious if anyone recommends them to you. They have no professional ethics and they could set you back mentally deeper into a spiral like they did me. This is a very cruel act in my opinion and I had trust Mr. Stinnett when he told me I was in a safe place to express myself.
