This hospital has gone downhill from the excellent care they used to provide. Health care in…read moregeneral has gone downhill. People don't care. The nurses here for the most part are great. Yes there are a few bad apples.one nurse on the 2p floor I even had to turn it to the higher ups. She was unbalanced and unbearable. The problem lies a lot with the doctors here. They could care less about the patients. Just in it for the money. There is only 3 doctors in the entire ER that are worth anything. A doctor with short red hair and small red mustache. He works overnight. I wish I knew his name. Dr Schwartz ( female) and Dr. Edwards ( female). The rest leave something to be desired. For some reason now you have to wait for a bed upstairs for 8 hours! Why, what are they doing? Never used to be that way. I also waited 4 hours for my bloodwork to come back. It's the ER for gosh sake. Don't they come first? It's also freezing in the ER and they hardly have any heated blankets. I told them it feels like a morge in here. She said that they have no control of the temperature and sometimes it's gets so cold they have to call to get some heat! What! If the wait is going to be 8 hours or more for an attmitnance please put TVs in the rooms like every other ER in the area. They have ruined a lot of things. There used to be computers on the wall in every room for the patients. Gone! The rooms are painted such dreary colors. How about some blues or greens to calm people. The TVs in the rooms have the strangest shows on them. I just watch shows on my phone. Another annoying thing they do. When you come in the first thing they ask you after they get your insurance is who's your primary doctor. I don't want to even bother to answer that question. My doctor never comes to the hospital when I'm in there and never has anyone else in charge to come and see me. They always used to do that. You would see your doctor is the morning. Not anymore so I'm not worrying about who my primary doctor is. Next thing, most people choose to come to a certain hospital because their doctor is associated with them and has your medical information. What happens at this hospital is that you never see your doctor unless you had surgery. Then you will probably see him once in the hospital. Otherwise, they put some strange a** doctor you don't even know who starts giving you orders and letting the hospital know how to treat you in all areas. I want to know who the he**is he and what right does he have stepping in. Where's my REAL doctor that I spent time choosing for my best care? This is so wrong! Beware!

The signage made it easy to find the elevators I was looking for. The nurses that met me when I got to the area with my niece were more than helpful. The facility is clean and welcoming. My niece was also pleased with the care she was given while there.

How does a reschedule with less than 2 weeks notice turn into a 2 1/2 month delay? This was a follow up from a hospital emergency..... tells me that the patients aren't truly a priority.
