My party of 5 went there Saturday night at the college students request for pasta. We ordered…read moreChicken Florentine, Chicken Caeser salad, linguine with clam sauce, and a Margarita pizza. Side salads came with the pasta. They were okay, but drenched in dressing. The pasta was also way over sauces and heavy, but tasty. My daughter enjoyed the linguine and her friend liked her salad. The Margarita pizza was more of a cheese pizza with slices do tomato and a few springs of basil. Our server had to be asked to refill waters. And the food took a while to come out. The food and drinks were reasonably priced though. Ambiance is white table cloths and typical Italian restaurant vibe.

We went for a late lunch expecting the lunch crowd would be over. We were warmly greeted when we walked in and were taken immediately to our table. Only a couple of tables were open, and that worked great for us. We ordered cheese bread to start and continued to review the menu. Selections were quite nice, and we all ended up ordering something different (no one ordered pizza, although they looked delicious). I ordered baked tortellini with a side of meatballs. Also, all of our orders came with a choice of soup or salad. Food came pretty fast and was just as we ordered. Food was so hot that it could burn your mouth. However, that didn't stop us from digging in. The food was really tasty and before you could say it, it was gone. We ate so much that we didn't leave any room for dessert. Our waiter was really good. He checked on us frequently but was not too invasive. Will I return? Definitely:)

You can come for appetizers and wine tasting or dinner and wine by the bottle. Seating includes a covered front and back porch. Inside there's a long bar with plenty of bar seating, along with tall two-tops and standard four top tables. For a large party you been rent out half the space or all of the space. The service was like being waited on by friends. They were so helpful in explaining everything and, if you're inclined, they're happy to talk about what they've built here together -- Mother, Son, and Daughter-in-Law, all working in harmony to make this place sing. We've tried a number is wines and dishes get. The Pintxos are amazing. The Tapas are totally on point with our favorite being the Albondigas meatballs. And the charcuterie featured really high quality chorizo, Serrano ham, Manchego and Mahon cheeses, almonds, grapes and an amazing quince jelly that's firmer than a standard jelly and quite delicious. Well be back. And we'll bring friends :-)

On my first visit with Bro-In-Law, I sampled a rose, I believe it was their SANGIO ROSATO. I frankly cannot recall, it was a few weeks back now. Bro, immediately grabbed a glass of Poncho & Lefty. Unfortunately they did not carry a PG or Pro and perhaps they were out of their TREBBIANO DOLCE. It was fine. I did try a sip of the Poncho and it was red, for sure. Not my favorite, so I cannot comment on quality compared to a red wine enthusiast. The tasting room is located on the square in Granbury which is convenient since there are loads of little shops and curiosities abound to discover and visit. The tasting room itself is quaint, narrow and cute. Very friendly wine-arista's who reviewed the options with me. It was late afternoon on a Thursday and there was only one other couple in the place. Bro knows everyone in this side of the world, so nice conversations were had and a couple of wines later we departed to visit the square. I believe that the Poncho was $18 a glass, which felt steep however these are premium wines, so it probably is on point. I'm sure when I'm back up this way, which we are monthly, we will drop in, perhaps catch Chuck to say hi and enjoy ourselves to some more beverages.
