(I sent this via email to the admin there and got absolutely no response)…read more Though Jeff (who is the one worker in Ventura) is a very "nice" person, he makes a lot of mistakes that cost me a lot of time. Back in March, I had my appointment to order new hearing aids for this year. Two months later I had not heard back from Jeff about the hearing aids so I called him. It turns out the hearing aids had never been ordered. So he ordered them, and they came in a couple weeks. I had requested rechargeable ones and in his notes he actually had put in rechargeable. But he ignored his notes. It turns out that rechargeable ones are not within my plan. But we wasted a lot of time in the office searching for rechargeable ones, that could've been done without me. So I accepted the battery ones and went home and when I used them, it turns out there was a lot of feedback. When I mentioned it to Jeff, he goes. Oh it's something that you are doing. Well he happened to forget to turn off the feedback on his computer in the office. So I had to go back there again! for him to turn off the feedback. Now we're in the month of July. After using the new hearing aids for maybe a total of five different occasions, they would only intermittently turn on. I would have to play around with them to get them to turn on. So when I brought them into Jeff to have them returned, of course Jeff played around with them and got them to work. He didn't believe what I was saying. He has now sent them in to be replaced. This will require yet another trip to pick them up! He also never told me that I could pair the hearing aids with the bluetooth app on my own, but I easily did it with the old hearing aids. I just followed the instructions on the app. It was quite easy. Next year when I'm due for new hearing aids, I'll be going to another Hearing Aids Center. There's another company in Ventura. Dr. Fraser recommended her to get her hearing tested and found she had a severe loss in both ears. First day my mom got hearing aids, she was back! Talking and laughing. Went for a hearing test only to be referred back to the primary care physician for hearing aides. Does that sound right?! Primary Physician referred us back to West Coast Hearing and Balance for the hearing aides. The misinformation doesn't end. It's hard to get in touch with them, because they use an answering service during business hours. Spoke with their answering service operator who told me that my appointment was good to go, but was later rescheduled. Received misinformation from the referral department on if the insurance covers the hearing aides. After going back and in forth in being told the hearing aides were covered by Medicare and then they were not covered I found out they were ultimately not. I was told by their front office the primary physician did not have the correct referral the day of my appointment, I called in the morning and told for a hearing aid evaluation I shouldn't have a problem. I showed up for the appointment was told I had to reschedule, because the referral from my primary physician was incorrect, and was threatened with having to pay for the appointment even though I we showed up and they rescheduled it. Oh, they don't have an office manager onsite for complaints. Their front office is unprofessional and ghetto. If I can give that place zero stars I would.

I have been replacing hearing aids, eye glasses, oxygen machine etc etc. My Dad had his hearing aid but it was plugged and not working. I contacted the makers and their office wanted to charge me $95 for an office visit with additional charges to clean and replace tubing. I saw on line that Alison was near where I moved my parents. I walked into her office with his hearing aids and explained the situation. She asked me to come back in 30 min. Upon my return, she had cleaned and replaced tubing as well as put in new batteries and charged me under $10. I thank you Alison and highly recommend her. She clearly cares about human beings and not just the bottom line!

It's all about getting your money while providing you with a lesser product. I'm going to Costco this time. At least if you're not happy, you can actually get your money back. Kiley B does not give you the money back, but says he'll put you in a higher-quality hearing aid which is a lie....it will be the same low quality. Also, they will say they don't have software to adjust your hearing aids because they want you to buy new ones. Be VERY careful & get other opinions before plunking down your money. I was very Anxious and had panic attacks But she would hold me through the whole process. I have met other Psychologist in the past but no one as great like Dr Jaffey. I trust her very much. She makes me feel as if I'm talking to my best friend. It's wonderful to be able to speak to someone that is not family or a friend but show that she takes pride in her work but also show empathy. She's always on time. She always has a smile. But yes she does show that she cares if I'm sad she gives me sympathy but also strength.
