The office experience here was grade level poor…read more I have not experienced such overall lack of professionalism from the office attendant to the hearing (specialist?). My father received a promotion in the mail for $439 hearing aids. A ploy used to get people in the door. They run a hearing test and let you know which hearing aids are best for you. That's all well and fine except that their sales style is built on pressuring and even guilting the client to buy, regardless of they are in a position to. My elderly father being a primarily Spanish speaker only, with get you by English got home and realized that he was not in a financial place, nor did he really want these $6,000 hearing aids he was pressured into buying. My dad tired to cancel the order next day over the phone and they told him he had to come to the office. Needing help to advocate for himself, he asked me for translation and advocacy help. I came to this office to help him and this office made it as painful as possible to be seen almost turning us away, until we made it clear that we would wait to make sure this item was canceled and my father reimbursed. They kept $639 as a restocking/cancellation fee, per the all English contract my father signed. Overall, the experience was a nightmare. The attendant Devin, was highly unprofessional; turning a point of clarity and decision to cancel into a guilting and blaming experience. Devin demeanor was short of a full tantrum, because his time was wasted and he didn't receive a commission. This was such a bizarre experience and worth sharing on Yelp, so that people understand the sales tactics used and how they treat their clients, and/or prospective clients. What is additionally noteworthy, is that to make the sale they contact the manager and the Manager authorizes a discount right there and then, but in order to process a return they can't even give you a timeframe for when the manager is going to call you to process that cancellation. I asked for a general timeframe for which my father can expect a call. Devin said that since the manager is really busy he would call whenever he could. That vague response, was obviously not ok, and I stated that most businesses operate between 24 and 72 hrs. and he couldn't even give me that. So this really says a lot over the integrity of this Business, and what their priorities are . They are more interested in sales, than how they treat people. Current status : waiting for the manager of this location, Mitch, to call my Father to process cancellation. I will note how long it takes them and how the process is handled.

Get other examinations from other ear DOCTORS. Do not go by their exam. $7000 is expensive when you…read moremay be able to get similar units at Wal-Mart for $700. No refunds. No take backs. The exam is done by someone trained by MIracle Ear and I should have asked to see his training certification. I think I would have been better serviced by an audiologists or a general practitioner. To this date I have a $7000 debt for a pair I hear just as well with as without.
