She did not push me to purchase and offered a couple of options that I tried over the next month. I now have a pair of aids that are perfectly fitted to my specific needs and have to say that I couldn't be happier. I'd considered buying over the counter aids, but believe that the quality and service that comes with these are well worth the cost.

Without an appointment, he kindly examined my ear, and said it was inflamed and plugged with ear wax. He recommended over the counter ear drops to soften the wax, and said if the infection persisted, I should see an Ear, Nose, Throat Doctor. Lo and behold, the ear drops worked, and my ear is back to normal. I would highly recommend this practitioner to anyone with hearing problems. I so appreciated his kindness and professionalism.

Family to Family saved my health and sanity. For the first time I found a doctor who truly listened…read moreto my story and didn't just focus on what prescriptions matched my symptoms. Functional doctors are trained to get to the root cause of health issues rather than just treating the symptoms, and that's exactly what they did for me. Their staff is wonderful and friendly. I sincerely appreciate feeling like a member of my own healthcare team rather than just a patient. They discuss nutrition, stress, sleep, exercise; all aspects of lifestyle which no conventionally trained MD had ever talked to me about before. I recommend this practice to everyone I know that's looking to take control of their health and finally get to the bottom of their symptoms.

My husband and I went to WNC Audiology without doing much research about audiologists in advance…read more We were so lucky that we came to this office. The doctor is very skilled in the complexities of hearing and how to adjust hearing aids to amplify sounds and volume through our iPhones and iPads. Recognizing that our hearing needs are different, she prescribed different brands of hearing aids for each of us, rather than using a "one size fits all" approach. The office staff explained the details of the service agreements thoroughly and suggested that we return for tweaks as necessary. We recommend this audiology practice very highly.

After talking with a few friends who have hearing aids, I concluded that I should work with a…read moreprovider that has an audiologist on the staff and available (as compared to "hearing technicians" or similarly-titled staff); and that I should purchase hearing aids from a provider that will permit and encourage follow-up appointments to assess progress and address any problems. I found WNC audiology that met these criteria. Dr. Angelina and her staff are knowledgeable and have been very helpful in assisting during my process of finding hearing aids that best suit me. I have not completed the process yet, but am very satisfied with care that I have received to now. The selection of hearing aids is complicated and purchasing hearing aids is costly. I encourage folks to ask questions to figure out what is best, and affordable for them; find a good, and experienced, audiologist to guide you through the process; and do ssome homework. I will update this review when I have received the hearing aids that I have ordered.
