A completely different experience. Please please price shop as they are not offering anything more than other audiologists, just extremely high prices. Clinic does not have a small business feel anymore. Incredible staff turnover over the years, which impacts how a patient is cared for. High prices, average service.

My husband has chronic ear problems and his hearing aids need constant cleaning and adjusting. Hearing Solutions does it happily. You are warmly greeted at reception by Liz and Nicole who can do a clean up in minutes. Audiologists Alan, Rebecca, and Victoria know their stuff. They make you comfortable as they test and advise or do adjustments. This is such a contrast to our last place where we waited weeks to get in to see anyone and where clean ups were only done in a one hour window, once per week. Hearing Solutions also got us the best price on the hearing aids we wanted. I started wearing hearing aids 15 years ago because I had difficulty hearing clearly at conferences and board meetings. My hearing has not deteriorated over that time because my hearing aids have kept the otic nerve stimulated and healthy. If you think you need hearing aids, get tested. never have I EVER had such a horrible experience at any establishment. "DR" Tam waltzed into our…read moreappointment with an arrogant attitude as if he knew more about my symptoms than I did. He told me I would not be able to get my tonsils out as it's "more painful than childbirth" which I find to be an incredibly sexist comment. When I explained my condition, he reacted as if trying to catch me in a lie (why tf would I lie to the doctor?). Eventually he ran and got a endoscopy tube and, without explaining what he was doing, shoved it up my nose. Afterwards he explains there's nothing wrong with me. At this point I'm emotional because I waited a long time to be here. I used my personal flashlight to shine into my throat and show him what was wrong, while admittedly crying. He then told me I was "too emotional" and had to leave. Upon leaving, I tried to tell the reception staff about my distress and they refused to make eye contact with me. They only slid me the managers card which had the basic information for the clinic on it, AKA exactly what I could find online. I was told I could be escorted to a back room alone if I was feeling emotional, but I made it clear I'm trying to have a conversation even though no one is acknowledging that I'm standing in front of them. As someone with a background in communications I believe THN should be embarrassed of their establishment and the doctors they represent. DR TAM IS A SEXIST, DISMISSIVE, QUACK. AVOID. I went here for musicians ear plugs and a hearing test. That visit was great, and the fitting went…read morewell. However, the wrong decibel filters were installed, rendering the $350 I purchased useless for my application for over 6 months. At the time that the plugs were finished, the clinic would not send the plugs to my home in Toronto, even at my own cost. This was highly inconvenient to make another 1 hour tripe from my home to pick them up, and then to find out the order was messed up and incorrect! At this point, the clinic did not offer any retribution for their mistake, and required me to come back AGAIN for a third visit to pick up the proper DB filters that weren't installed the first time. At this time, they still would not mail/courier the plugs. I would not recommend this clinic to people looking for a professional ear plug solution Musicians, etc
