But the…read moregentleman who is the audiologist is shockingly rude and dismissive and was very short and interruptive with my Mom, the patient. Both times. He certainly wasn't at all polite to me either but my concern was her. We're not exactly overly sensitive types, just standard passable behavior would have been fine each time. No. Also, he was repeatedly rude to the assistant up front, which was awkward for everyone in the waiting room each time. Nichole gave me a clear and concise explanation as to why my original devices, although good…read morequality, were not good for the needs I had. She suggested that the Widex BTE would be a better fit for my needs. She shared info, (cost and benefits) on all of the model levels of the device and I was able to make a very informed decision. When I came back to pick up the devices, we did a comprehensive fitting session with some fine tuning. I left that day with my new hearing aids and was just floored by how great they worked. My hearing comprehension problem in noisy situations is just gone. I actually was starting to avoid social situations because of this issue. Now I don't even think about it. I am very confident that I will be able hear and follow conversations. No more watching TV/movies and not hearing critical words of dialogue because of the background noise in the show. I play guitar and with the music channel on my hearing aids I am much better able to pick out nuances in the sounds that I was missing. As a bonus, they are very comfortable to wear. I am very grateful that I was able to find Nichole and her staff. I can conclude that a critical part of choosing an audiologist is getting someone that knows how to match the technology to their client's specific needs. Nichole definitely places a high importance on this task and does it well. She is very personable, professional and knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend her services.
