After seeing us only two times, that audiologist suddenly disappeared, and since then it has been nearly impossible to get help from anyone at this office. There is no continuity of care and no one who takes ownership of the situation. I have called the front desk and billing countless times. Billing has been condescending, dismissive, and completely unhelpful. Meanwhile, I have spent hours on the phone with Aetna, who has also contacted this office multiple times trying to resolve the issue. Despite all of this, we are still stuck waiting on reimbursement and clear answers. This has been an absolute nightmare, especially when dealing with something as important as a child's hearing and such a large amount of money. I would never return to this practice and strongly caution others to get everything in writing and think carefully before paying a large sum of money upfront. She left the room early (as she did on the second appt. also) and I was told by Samantha the intern or assistant there was no instruction Manual?? I called next day and asked Samantha if I could speak with Nancy DATINO ...I was coldly directed to call her DR. DATINO....she was not avaiable. I told Samantha said I must have a hard copy instruction manual. Samantha balked at this and said they only give instruction manual when the hearing aids are purchased??? Crazy! She finally not happily consented to send me instructions. I asked that a copy of my hearing test I was not given be sent also. These were sent and received. The instruction manual was indispensable; it had crucial, very important and indispensable info for these very advanced hearing aids. AND this office INITIALLY DID NOT GIVE ME AND WERE NOT GOING TO GIVE ME AN INSTRUCTION MANUAL UNTIL I PURCHASED THESE EXTREMELY EXPENSIVE HEARING AIDS?? WILD! The instruction manual said I should have a hearing test with the hearing aids on...which I had asked for and Dr. DATINO said this test with hearing aids on was not done,. The next appt. I had lots of questions that were basically answered and I needed hearing aids to be reprogrammed a bit as I was not hearing well with them. They were reprogrammed. Nancy DATINO left the room. Samantha gave me an unidentified bamboo toothbrush and told me to brush the domes of hearing aid very well every nite...Brush them HARD Samantha said. Well instructions in manual said do NOT touch the domes...only a specialist does this I confirmed next appt. days before only to be asked again on line an hour or so before my appt. to confirm again I would be there. I confirmed and drove an hour to the appt. to find out Dr. DATINO has been ill all week and would not be there but would join us on zoom call. I DEFINITELY should have been called before this appt. and told the audiologist I WAS PAYING TO SEE would NOT be there!! THIS IS A NO BRAINER! And I had been asked if I was coming in an hour before my appt. with the office fully aware Dr. DATINO would NOT be there!! I drove an hour to the appt' to find her not present! I arrived at appt. fully expecting Dr. DATINO the audiologist to be present...I had an LOT of questions for her!! WELL I sat there for about 40 minutes with Samantha. Samantha trying to connect on zoom with DATINO and made several phone calls to her also all to NO avail. From our first contact with her office I said I had been made aware that time with an Excellent audiologist was of utmost importance!! I was with her assistant/intern Samantha more than with audiologist DATINO. And Nancy DATINO never showed for this last appt. I had a LOT of questions for her the audiologist! I told Samantha to please have Dr. DATINO to definitely call me so I could ask her my questions. I then returned the Oticon hearing aids I was trying out because I certainly did NOT want to continue care with the irresponsible attention, information and lack of time provided by Dr. DATINO. I told Samantha I still most certainly wanted Dr. DATINO to call me ;I had questions. No surprise she never called. I would tell anyone to AVOID this practice. I ache for those that are unknowingly taken advantage of! And the $ a patient can pay...oh dear me! Terrible!

Since then, over the past year, I have had to deal more with the front desk to get appointments, or support. They are rude and unprofessional to deal with and make it impossible to get the care and follow up needed. For example, last year, I purchased pricey new hearing aids from them with a warranty which included servicing and support for the first year. Shortly after purchase, one of my hearing aids became very uncomfortable to wear and my ear felt irritated. I called the front desk several times and explained that I needed to speak with or see an audiologist. The front desk refused to help me. I was told that their audiologists were not available and even if they were, that they could not help me or even speak with me. The front desk representative told me that they do not have Ear doctors associated with this audiology group which was why they could not help me. I finally went to urgent care, and it turned out that a small piece of the tip of the hearing aid had become lodged in my ear canal. The nurse was able to easily assist me, but my ear drum was very irritated due to the conduct of this audiology group. Since then, the front desk representatives have continued to be extremely difficult to deal with. Even getting an appointment with an audiologist over the summer when one of my hearing aids was accidentally damaged was difficult. I have now switched to another audiology group.

I have worked with Bonnie off and on for what seems like two decades now. I have come across a slew…read moreof audiologists, mostly in connection with ENT doctors I've visited over the years. Bonnie is head and shoulders better than any other audiologist I've spent time with. For one, her hearing exams are easily 3 times as long and far more thorough than other audiologist exams I've had. She always takes the time to be thorough and complete, answering ever question I throw her way, and she works a problem until it's solved to the best of her ability. For a time, I had left Bonnie to go the cheaper, Costco hearing aid route. But when my hearing degraded further and I needed specialized assistance, I returned to Bonnie without blinking an eye. And the result has been top notch as I expected. Obviously, using Bonnie over Costco is a far more expensive proposition, but, in my case, I had to bite the bullet and go that route to ensure Ii could hear as well as possible. Ultimately, we setted on top of the line Phonak Hearing Aids as well as custom ear molds and a Roger On microphone, and the result has changed my life. While I did pay a lot upfront, every time I needed service or additional help or had to have a broken ear mold remade, Bonnie has always ensured I never had to pay an additional dime. I can't recommend Bonnie enough. If and when the day comes that she decides to retire, for me, it willl be a very sad day! If you're looking for the best auditiologist in the area, give her office a call pronto!

No soap for patients to clean their hands after using the bathroom. Only the garbage has been changed daily. The doctor refuses to give him his anti-anxiety medicine saying she wants to work on the issues causing the anxiety but nothing happens. Groups are a joke. Instead of a morning group, they have a morning check in where nothing happens. Additionally they've started a Reflection hour where the patients have to stay in their rooms for an hour to "reflect." This place has a minute amount of entertainment for the patients so they're already spending a portion of their day in their rooms. The staff says that this is something that should be happening every day but my son has been there for a week now and this is the first time. I feel like the staff just doesn't want to deal with the patients. I really like my son's social worker but he's probably the only good thing about this place.

It does not deserve even one star but there is no option to give it 0 or -100. It is not safe here. They will place one single young female alone with men much older who the stuff does not care when you are harassed, sexually or in general. I was on the phone trying to call my father when a man who had been following me around for days grabbed me from behind, groped my body, as well as my neck. All while my father was hearing this on the phone. He was horrified and slept in the parking lot until any real medical staff would show up as they are hardly there and are gone if you are there during any weekend times. They do not listen to you, your safety seems to be of no concern to them. The condition of their units are atrocious. People were openly sick from the conditions, a place of despair with no one cleaning up blood, bathrooms, or general areas. I saw many people get physically sick from eating the only food you are forced to eat. The food was disgusting and they seemed to claim this place offers therapy but all they have you do is draw pictures like you are in kindergarten, host both sex yoga sessions in the hallways with men, who in front of me twice assaulted each other into a fight of who could stand directly behind the one or two young female patients there (I must have been 20, the other girl maybe 18-19), out of the rest mainly older men with serious aggressive anger issues with staff showing no concern of the fight results in you in the middle of it. There are no real therapists and any doctor or person with authority may give you 5 or less minutes and then abandon you. I believe they incited mental illness or worsened it for many people there, give almost everyone the same day time dose or 300 plus dose of antipsychotics despite some people being over 300 points vs some under 100. Even without being a doctor that did not seem normal at all You may get 20 minutes outside if it is not raining, they have enough staff, and if some idiot was found with a lighter or tried to smoke inside every single persons right to go outside was taken away, even if it occurred every time in the men's bathroom. Also, you are allowed to smoke outside but people have to ask the staff outside for a lighter if they happen to have their own personal one LOL. Sounds like prison, and ridiculous. It took the staff hours to secure the patient who assaulted me and all they did was put him a 30 minute "time out" and then let him about around everyone. Good luck making any phone calls, they just have coin operated phones and if anyone calls you most likely no one will tell you. I could literally write an entire book about the most awful and disgusting things I have seen occur in only a short time here. This place is a nightmare, poorly staffed, ran by awful doctors who have directly led to people losing their lives by medical reactions to treatments they provide that or have killed themselves. If you need help, do not ever go here, or send anyone you love here. If you did not already have PTSD when arriving here, you will Most likely leave with it a severe way.
