Prayerful Touch came up in my research and I thought why not give it a try. Even with it being a 50 minute drive. My first massage I was about 5 months pregnant. Lila took this into consideration very well. What really stood out to me was her zeal to pray for me before and after the session. That tells me that she takes this gift from God more as a calling. My second was today and I am 4 months after birth. The massage was very gentle yet relaxing and thorough and the environment was very calm. I told my doctor I was going to them instead of seeing his personal physical therapist and he said they were very good. They did not disappoint, if they hadn't pushed me, would not have gotten the amount of mobility back in my shoulder to preinjury. Physical therapy sucks but they were always encouraging, very blunt and what I needed to do which is what I needed. I didn't need someone to hold my hand, I needed someone to help me get to the best of my ability and they really do that. The staff has been nothing but wonderful and encouraging when was down. What happened to me there I consider assault. I was injured badly by the owner and physical therapist herself. She wanted my leg to be straight, and it was apparently taking too long for her satisfaction. She pressed so hard on my knee that it brought tears to my eyes. When I groaned and asked her to stop, not only did she not stop but she pressed even harder and told me, in a cold voice, that I'd just have to push thru my pain or I would make no progress. I had been pushing thru a good deal of pain and I had been making good progress, walking well without a limp. I had never before asked her to stop anything she was doing with me. I came home after she injured me, and for several days, had been in a great deal of pain, with more than usual swelling, and unable to walk without a limp. My doctor said it sounded like a strained hamstring from the symptoms I described, and my new PT also agreed with this diagnosis. All I was able to do for a few days was to rest and ice. When I had tried to walk normally, my knee buckled under me, causing me to almost fall. I had been walking fine with little pain before this injury. Not only did she injure me but she set my progress back by about 2 weeks since I was unable to keep moving as I had been. With a new physical therapist who is supportive and encouraging, I am healing and making good progress, catching up to where I should have been before her assault.

The referral consists of a business card with a referral package which is a great deal. For 40$ you get a consultation complete with an x-ray. I did have to schedule a separate appointment to go over the x-ray but it was also my first adjustment appointment. So far it has been one adjustment and my "broken neck" is no longer broken.
