I can't tell you how pleased I am with Ryan's work. Not only did everything turn out as I requested (the first time), when I got the airplane back in the timeframe & estimate quoted, the install was perfect. No scratches, no aluminum filings or rivets on the carpet etc. that I usually get when work is done. Everything was perfectly clean, in its place, and he even managed to cover up some torn upolstery on the baggage compartment access panel caused by previous mechanics. The airplane actually came back looking better than when it went in. Ryan's Avionics install is a real class act and that comes from an owner who is an A&P and IA. I DO KNOW THE DIFFERENCE. I highly recommend Ryan and Ruby valley for all you Avionics and A&P needs. Their fuel and shop rates are excellent.

Called General Welding, discussed the problem with one of their employees, Archie, and he was on site within the hour with the parts and tools to complete the repair. During his inspection he discovered another shackle that was failing and replaced it also. In addition he inspected tightened all the other shackle bolts. The charges were exceptionally reasonable

The ladies in the Dillon PO lack any kind of customer service etiquette. My daughter went in there…read more3 time to retrieve her mail that was in a "cluster" box. They told her is would be 10 days before they could get her a key and that she couldn't get the mail that was in the cluster. We had to resort to callin the post master who in the end is resolving for us but the ladies COULD have avoided 3 trips there and just had her fill out a hold mail card so she could get the mail in a day or 2. The ladies clearly are bullies as I have just talked to a number of other Dillon residents who have experienced the same sort of run around. Maybe they are trying justify their jobs with all the "busy" work. The USPS days are numbered and with this kind of service it is no wonder. Probably the same mean girls from the local HS are now at the Dillon PO...just do your job right the first time so customers don't have to call your boss to get your job done. Not honest either.
