The food combination of goat cheese toast with strawberry and basil was really really good! I got it with a gluten free bread since I am celiac and I feel good! The smoothie was really nice, refreshing, and filling. Personally needed a bit more taste of something but honestly cannot complain, it was very good. The ambiance is home style with a bit of a natural twist. The only thing that sent me over the edge is the sound the door makes when it opens/closes. It's just startling. Overall, I liked the place. It seems just a tad bit higher prices but with this economy, so is everything. Safe to say I will be returning!

Airam (I think that's how you spell it, pronounce it like Eye- rum) and her husband Elias were seriously friendly, real people and it was great chatting with them while I waited for my shake and tea. The teas are just fabulous, bursting with flavors and she can mix and match a lot of different kinds so it's a lot of fun. If you love milkshakes or ice cream you need to try a shake from here- tastes literally the same but it's 100% way better for you, and Airam is happy to explain exactly how. She also writes little motivational sayings on all of the cups, it's such a nice touch. When you try to find this place, they have a small sign sitting on the sidewalk out front... the big sign above the door says something about a barber shop, but don't be confused it is VEV, not a barber haha. I would recommend some non sugar free options that come from a natural source , such as a banana. I hate to even get on here and say it but the shakes had barely any flavor. I understand why and that they are meant to be low glycemic and healthy but i make smoothies at home with almond milk, half a banana, protein powder , spinach and a teaspoon of honey, dash of cinnamon and the flavor is awesome and not too high i sugar bc i only use half a banana. I will return and give it another shot though , for sure :)
