For those of us who work in retail Christmas is a rough time for a number of reasons. The shops are crazy, the demands to come out and party are immense and our waist lines suffer because we are forced to eat greasy meals in the food court on a regular basis, as we never have time to return to our homes and our lives. This is why I am grateful for places like Healthy Habits.
Healthy Habits is a food court restaurant that offers a range of healthy meals for people on the go! In other words, it is the perfect alternative to that sweet, juicy Whooper which may be killing you slowly. So, instead of eating the latter, one can grab a light and tasty turkey and cranberry toasted sandwich with lots of salad. Perhaps that will make up for that half a bottle of gin you drank on the weekend? Do cranberries amend liver damage? I am unsure.
Prices are somewhat reasonable (around $8-$10 for a sandwich). I can't help but wish I had a side of crunchy hot chips... but I guess this would go against their philosophy. Come to think of it, they don't really offer any sides aside from more salad. I guess that's a negative. Overall it's a great place to go for a redemptive meal. read more
