This is not a large chain Vitamin store that you could wait for a long period of time for assistance. I find that HealthQuest are quite knowledgeable and personable. They will take the time to listen to your requirements. We travel a distance to visit this establishment because its just worth it. read more

Healthquest is a rare gem! It's one of the few places that cares about their customers, their health, and ensure people are taking the right vitamins for their dietary needs and healthy lifestyle. Kumar, the owner, reviews blood work from doctors and puts people on a strict path for healthy living. He creates custom vitamin and health schedules, gives advice on diets (foods to eat and foods to stay from), and never tries to sell someone vitamins they don't need. Prices are great and always match the competition, and they usually have full stock of what other companies cannot get on the shelves. The staff is always friendly, helpful, and they never rush you when you have a lot of questions or concerns about products and directions on taking them. Kumar has helped me move off of some tradition prescriptions that had varying side effects. He has helped me continue to improve my health and blood work with the regimen he prescribed. Healthquest always reminds me to first check with my doctor to ensure I am doing what is best for my health and he never oversteps what my doctor recommends. There are very few retail stores left with the customer care, knowledge, and experience you'll find at Healthquest. I will support these shops before heading over to Amazon or online stores. They also ship orders and provide curbside pickup when you're in a rush or can't make it to the store. read more

I went there a couple of times and looked like the owner didn't want to have anything to do with assisting me. The second time I went there he was too busy talking a phone to serve me, so I just left my items on the counter and just walked out The customer service from the owner is beyond horrible!!! Caution,do NOT go there, I repeat do not go there, he seems prejudice . read more

My favorite place to pick up all my vitamins and supplements. The particular vitamins I need are extremely hard to find in other stores or online. Healthquest vitamins will special order my vitamins and they will be in the store in a day or two. Their vitamins and supplements are higher quality, so if you are looking for a bargain and sales, provide your phone number at checkout for discounts and sales and promotions via the iPad app they have at checkout. It's great, because I have saved a decent amount of money on my large orders. I'm in health Quest vitamins often and both employees are extremely knowledgeable, kind and always help me. I highly recommend Healthquest vitamins. They have the most variety of hard to find products, their prices are reasonable for high quality products and they provide great customer service. read more

Kumar has been a huge asset in changing our lives for the better. He has helped us get through and past a big chunk of our health issues before we met him. My wife is pregnant and I'd say that's where he really stepped up, she's has had an amazing pregnancy so far and super healthy. Looking forward to a life long relationship! -Mike & Macy read more

After being unsuccessfully treated by a Gastro MD for my IBS in 2009, I tried a more holistic approach. I was initially skeptical by the list of recommended products (and their price) that Kumar recommended based on my bloodwork, but the results do not lie! Kumar basically rebuilt my stomach lining and brought my gut health back to normal levels within six months - At this point, I only take one supplement daily for maintenance. I will admit, the upfront cost was about $120 per month, which is beyond my budget, but in the end, I will save $ by not having to refill my monthly $10 prescription of dicyclomine for the rest of my life (and let's face it, dicyclomine does NOT help IBS!). In 2016 I was bitten by a tick and had to restart much of the process over again after a course of antibiotics, but Kumar was able to advise me once again and put me on the path of success. read more

ZERO the owner there is a horrible individual. I parked my car in his driveway told him that I was going into marshals to go shopping because he questioned where I was going because of the side of the street that I parked on. I told him I was going to marshals when I was done I was going to come out and go to the store. He waited for me to come out of marshals. My hands were full as I walk to my car so that I can put the items down in my car because they were heavy halfway down the parking lot, he came out of his store, screaming and ranting and raving it at me. I turned around kept walking put my stuff in the car locked my car and walked back to his store. There was a nice young lady outside on the store next to his. She said if you want I can go in and I can talk to him .she said he is always like that,I said thank you I proceeded to go into the store I was meet with you people and it only got worse from there cursing and telling me he owes the building and the street. Yes it is true that I held my ground. I have lived in Syosset for years. Both of my children went through the whole school system, and we still have many many friends there. Syosset has never tolerated discrimination by race, religion, or anything else. I hope that this is still the case. Please do not support this business read more

Kumar is a godsend. I just happened upon his store after visiting a functional medicine doctor. She is great but after speaking with and listening to Kumar's recommendations I honestly can say I haven't felt this good for as long as I can remember. One particular item to note I have suffered from pretty severe anxiety and depression for most of my life and just thru the recommended products my anxiety level is nearly gone and it has been for going on 2 years. When I run out of the recommended products and do not refill for whatever reason my anxiety and depression come right back. He knows his stuff and I am so thankful. Are his products the cheapest, heck no. But I know I am not only paying for high-level products but also for Kumar's wealth of knowledge. read more

I absolutely LOVE Healthquest Vitamins! Even when I can't get to the store, their online shopping is wonderful. I am able to get the best quality brands at very reasonable prices and free shipping on orders $50 and over. My orders are always packaged beautifully and shipped to me the next day. It's such a pleasure doing business with Kumar and his staff. Kumar is extremely kind, patient, knowledgeable and super helpful in the past 5 years I have been going to him. I always love receiving their product recommendations and how to keep our immune system happy and healthy. Super grateful and blessed to have Kumar and his staff in my family's life. read more
