Health Point Kent has always the worst service. They never answer calls (not to mention no reminder calls). Wait hours on the line always last 20mins only because you decided to hang up. I went in there last month, for my daughter's check up, waited 20mins to be called by Medical Assistant. And between the Medical Assistant and the actual doctor, waited about 50mins. Yesterday, went in again for my daughter's vaccine 2nd dose, waited 20 mins for nothing after the receptionist said I was all checked in. I asked them after 20mins for waiting so long, and only after then they call us because they didn't know if before hand. I scheduled that 4 weeks ahead with the reminder card that they sent home with ,and been told that we had no appointment scheduled. One time, we went to see my daughter's doctor, and checked in, they made us wait at the wrong floor of the building the entire half an hour, not telling us where to go. The worst service I ever have. During the covid time, I used to think they are short-staffed. Now they are fully staffed and service is still not yet improved. Only reason I keep going there is because of the doctor, so patient and knowledgeable with the pediatric needs. The management needs to do some thing about it. read more

This is absolutely the WORST DOCTORS OFFICE IVE EVER SEEN. I didn't know places like this existed honestly. They don't do anything for you. No papers signed, they get faxes and throw them in the trash, it's like it's ran by a bunch of 4th graders. Not that I had an appointment on Friday with a dr named "Mark" something I told him about how I had a really bad cough and he went ahead and prescribed me cough medicine but forgot to send it in. When I went to my pharmacy that evening they didn't have my prescription, it was past 5 so health point was closed I had to wait ALL WEEKEND to call and ask, they confirmed he in fact did forget & they emailed him to send it in and they didn't know when he would get to it if it would be today or not.... It's ridiculous I have to wait 3+ days for them to send one prescription in like my cough isn't getting ANY BETTER??? And not that I was on hold for over 30 minutes trying to get a hold of someone also! read more

This pharmacy is a complete joke. The pharmacy is constantly not filling my prescriptions after leaving messages on the voicemail system. You can't get ahold of anyone to ask questions or ask for updates. You have to come in to actually talk to anyone. Not even the customer service folks can get through. With COVID you'd think they want minimal exposure, and unnecessary trips limited. The times online are incorrect so I got her first thing and had to wait for over a half hour for them to open on a Wednesday when the website clearly says 8am. They waste peoples time. After attending a previous appointment with my son. His school was not sent paperwork I requested for a physical. I called by phone to find out that the front desk never changed his care provider as I asked. I was also told the information regarding his physical can be picked up at the health point office. After made it to the office I was told to wait two weeks for the records. Now my son can't play for two weeks and I'm out of gas because I was told wrong information that should of been known by who ever answered the line. Make sure you call the place your attending because they might not be on the same page. Can't file complaints because they don't have a system to do so, not even on staff. I sitting here waiting for a sokoto me driving down here for nothing because I was told wrong information. Truthfully, PEOPLE DONT CARE! Leone honest with ourselves and stop dreaming! I officially hate this clinic as of today! I called to speak to a nurse about my son having a blister on his tongue...the lady told me the nurse was going to give me a call back, when the nurse finally called she decides to schedule me an appt. at 2:45, I arrived there about 5-10 min early with no one else waiting... 15 min passes I'm still waiting, people are coming and they get called before me when we were the ones who we're waiting there first... After 45 min of waiting I finally got up and was so frustrated that I yelled so loud the whole building could probably here me "I've been waiting here for 45 min.. What kind of clinic does that to there patients esp when they're not even busy!!!" Worse clinic ever, and I left!! I called to complain to the manger & on top of that I even called our insurance that assigned us to them. I've had several complaints about this place but always held it in. I thought this one would be decent cause I use to go to the one located in seatac but I guess I was wrong! I can literally talk about how disrespectful, unorganized, dirty etc. this place is!! This place sucks the are very unorganized, they never sent my the referral for my daughters speech therapy and they denied it to me 2 times when I called and asked for it even tho her dr said she would send it out she never did. A few people (meaning just the receptionist and doctor) were very polite. The assistants were extremely rude, to a point where one had told me to "MOVE" rather than excuse me. I'm extremely disappointed in these two individuals who worked on my child. The lady didn't even change her gloves. I came from another dental office where I work and I understand the importance and OSHA's stand on glove changing. It's very disgusting here. To top it off, there was a man who came in and couldn't breathe. While the doctors checked his vitals, the office people were gawking at him and gossiping about the situation extremely loud. I couldn't believe they have the audacity to treat their patients this way. I'm certain that is a HIPPA violation. read more

If I could read this place lower I would. I've been going there now for about a year-and-a-half and I will never be going back. They charge you your co-pay even when you don't see the doctor. I just waited to be seen for a 4:30 appointment and still was not seen by 6pm. They just kept telling me five more minutes and then no one ever showed up. The last time I went to check on the doctor and their ETA, They told me it was going to be another 20 minutes before I could even be seen. I asked for my copay to be refunded and They couldn't refund me my copay because the front desk already closed out there batches for the evening...convenient... so I just paid for a doctor that was going to be two hours late that I never even got to see. I've tried twice to contact Juana regarding this. I've been asked if it's ok to leave detailed messages, and EVERY time I've said yes and not ONCE has a detailed message EVER been left. So, since, they seem to be too busy. I'm lettting everyone else know. On Thursday, August 2nd, I arrived 10 minutes late for an appointment to have hearing loss looked at. My doctor was Dr. Whelan, who not only looked at the ear infection, but also my diabetes medication, who changed my prescriptions as a result, and more lab tests (blood and urine) were taken that day. I was called after the fact to be informed of an appointment on Friday, August 3rd. I returned the call and questioned the necessity of that appointment given all that had just happened and was informed that, yes, it was necessary. I kept that appointment, and when asked by the attending nurse what I was there for, I replied, "Beats me" and explained all that had happened the day before, including my followup call about the appointment. She said she would speak with her supervisor about it. And, I was then informed that unless I had something pressing to discuss, the only thing outstanding was the results of my lab tests (of which I have yet to be informed). And, if that didn't need to happen in person, it could be followed up by phone (see, "Detailed message" above). So, I left. And have been informed by letter by "Juana Ledezma, Health Center Manager", who I have tried to contact on multiple occasions to no avail, that it's important that I keep my scheduled appointments, and, no doubt, if I fail to, there will be consequences. Thereby demonstrating quite effectively that the right hand has no idea what the left hand is doing and is apparently too busy to find out. So, apparently, what I will need to do is now keep a written record of the appointments I keep. As, apparently that's not being done. read more

I regret becoming a patient of this clinic and will never return to them ever again. I only started going to them because I switched health insurance plans. The service I received was very unacceptable. When I informed my primary care provider that I learned that apparently during a recent surgery the surgeon left a foreign object in me and that it was very urgent that I needed a referral to a Nero Surgeon to have it removed. Well it has now been over two weeks and still have not received a referral to date. I made numerous calls, sent emails and even stopped by the office regarding this matter and still can not get the referral to a surgeon to have it removed. So I have switched my health insurance and primary care provider in order to have the emergency health issue resolved. The doctors at Health Point have put my life in danger just as the surgeon did who left the foreign object in me. Apparently getting the new doctor was the best decision I have made because if the object would have moved any further it would have punctured a blood vessel causing me serious health issues. Please if you are thinking of going to Health Point of Kent I would advise you to go some where else because they have no clue providing adequate health care and don't care about anyone health at all.
