Fast and easy system for walk ins. Polite efficient front desk receptionist. I have recommended this office to several others already.

I went to see Amandeep Mann at Kent Family Practice in 2022. I was supposed to get my annual…read moreMedicare physical. I was given a physical, but I did NOT receive a Medicare physical - and I only know this only because when I returned in 2023, the Medicare physical I received was entirely different than the one the year before. Before I went in for the physical in 2023, I asked how long it would take and the receptionist said 30 minutes. This is important to me, as I am a teacher and need to let the school know about coverage. While at the appointment, they told me they needed a urine sample. If I'd known I would not have gone to the bathroom before I left for the appointment. When the Nurse Practitioner Mann came into the room (30 minutes later) and asked about the urine sample - when I explained - she gave me a bottle of water. Why didn't her staff do that? They just kept pointing me to the bathroom and telling me to try. Also - when it was time to be weighed, I walked toward the scale - a medical looking scale - and was told, "No not that one" and they brought out a bathroom scale that was dirty and broken on one side. Whaaaaat? That appointment took an hour and 30 minutes. An hour more than what I was told!! After that hour and a half appt, I received the results of the blood work and needed a follow up appt, but - I also needed another appointment for a follow up on cat bite I'd had treated at Urgent Care. I called to make an appointment and to see if the appointments could be combined. The receptionist said she wasn't sure, but would check. I then asked how long she thought it would take if..... and before I could finish my sentence she said "30 minutes". Ugh. I was really upset and told her to let me talk to someone who knew the answers. Amandeep Mann got on the phone and I told her how I had been misinformed about the approximate length of my last appointment, and that her staff didn't seem to know answers. She said, "We are doing our best here!" And I said, "Well it's not good enough!" and she said, "Well then you can go and find another doctor!" I said, "I will!" - and that was then end of them. If a medical office does not have a staff that makes patients feel cared for, and it cannot provide what it's supposed to during an appointment, and it's a little dirty - I don't want to be there. I have a doctor at UW Valley Med now, and I feel very cared for. I do not recommend Kent Family Practice at all!!!

She is real sweet with many years of experience under her belt. They accept all major insurance and use MyChart to communicate with patients. Also, any billing concerns or for payment, can be made on there. The team up front to check you in are very professional and friendly. Even when they're busy, they will acknowledge you as you walk through the door. They will kindly offer you a mask if you don't have one. Sanitizer is around for your convenience, along with a water cooler for your thirst. I usually have to get my blood drawn before coming to my appointment. I try to come a few days prior at least. The last time I went, it was difficult as I have deep rolling veins. I normally request for them to draw from my fist. They were out of the type of butterfly component to draw blood from the fist. The phlebotomists there are also friendly. The last gal I did dealt with was not as patient in my opinion, and suggested that I go elsewhere to get my blood drawn or come back another time. I surely did not want to go elsewhere as I should be able to get it done here. Plus, I waited for her to come back from lunch before I had to go to work. I would think there would be more than one person. But, I cannot fault them if they're under staff. Overall, I have a good experience here and feel as my health is being taken care.

I am always given the exercises and then ignored in between changes. It feels great to do things with minimal guidance or check ins. The PT front desk? She's amazing! SHE is friendly and makes me feel welcome. Too bad the actual therapists don't take her lead. The actual doc appointment? Again, their front desk is great! Appointment times? Yeah, those are suggestions.TWICE I have had appointments that have exceeded 2.3 hrs behind. The first time (2hrs behind), I thought was a fluke and only asked the back office after 1.5 hrs of waiting how much longer it would be with the answer "another doc just got here, it'll be just a little longer", and this last time I waited in the waiting room for over an hour, and a a prize, I had to wait another two in the room. The answer i gut was "they have new medical directors and new providers". IDK how that's MY problem, but here...we...are. I ultimately left without being seen due to another medical appointment I had THREE HOURS AFTER MY APPOINTMENT TIME. I'm now going to find another facility. My time may not be valuable to them, but they are the gatekeepers of the paperwork I need to be in compliance with my employer. My only advice is to stay on time, be communicative with your patients about wait times and be realistic about the wait time expectations as NO ONE has the time to wait THREE HOURS WITHOUT BEING SEEN. I am extremely disheartened about the lack of accountability of the providers and those who excuse the behavior. I'm even more disheartened that this is their "norm". If you don't have the staff, schedule accordingly.

At Christmas I was around a bunch of sick family members, came down with a cold that turned into a double ear infection. For the next 2 weeks I battled that I thought was just a bad cold. But I developed a terrible cough that would send me into coughing fits at night. After a week of this and getting no better I called my dr, but I wouldn't be able to get an appointment for 3 weeks. I was exhausted from not being able to sleep and working 12 hour shifts all week. I was developing fever like symptoms and felt weak and achey I went to a different urgent care first but the wait time was 2.5 hours. Came here and was seen within 10 minutes. I felt kind of dumb seeing a Dr for "a cold", but she looked me over and said I had Bronchitis. She prescribed antibiotics, steroids, and a cough suppressant and told me to take some OTC stuff as well. I was in and out in 30 mins Picked up my meds that night and am feeling 90% better 3 days later.

The doctors were Listening and attentive. But the last two times l've been sick it was Dr Sing. UNFORTUNATELY !!!! He may be a nice person to others but he's not right for urgent medicine. I told him I know my body. I felt like pneumonia was coming. He heard my lungs and at that time they seemed clear but l'd been on DayQuil/robitossun/allegra all day. But I was coughing all night and I told him. I can't breathe!!!!! It's coming. I need something stronger. This has been my life for 20 years. I know what works. I need prednisone plus strong amoxiclaven. I also needed a strong cough medicine. But no, he said my strep tst was negative and needed nothing but a couple days of prednisone. That was a week ago on Sunday. I told him I have a very weak immune system. I have several immune disorders that require immediate treatment. I know ppl come looking for drugs but I take so much medication for all my illnesses that he should have listened to me. It's been TWENTY YEARS of this. | KNOW MY BODY. but he was dismissive and very condescending. I don't want cocaine or meth. I need a codene based cough med along with prednisone pills and strong antibiotics. Three things that work every year, ONCE A YEAR, EVERY YEAR JUST ONCE A YEAR WHEN I GET PNEUMONIA! YOU KNOW WHERE I AM NOW ????? IN THE EMERGENCY ROOM. With pneumonia. Severe fever and a gargling shallow breathe that could lead to double pneumonia. Which l've had before. Dr Singh is so full of him self. I understand there are drug addicts who ask for hard drugs. I needed real medication. Now I'm taking more time off work. More money out of pocket for a hospital stay. And more suffering from another case of pneumonia. Grown up jerk. Assess your patients better. INSTEAD OF judging them. I'll bring you my ER bill for the lack of better care. It's showing my pneumonia could have been treated sooner if you listen to real patients.
