I have been battling tight muscles and tendinitis in my right shoulder for a couple of years now. My Mayo Family Med doctor referred me to Active PT. What a blessing that was. I made an appointment with Kayla and have had nothing but success. I have seen her 1-2 times a week for a month and she has taught me various exercises that has resolved my pain. She also applied cupping to my muscles and that has helped as well. As long as I keep up with the exercises she taught me, I should not have to go back. Kayla has me in a good place physically and it's now up to me to keep myself there. My appointments are 40 minutes long, and we talk about what is currently going on with my pelvic issues. The therapist helps me stretch, massages my stomach and sometimes back, and encourages me to do stretches and/or exercises at home. She also chats with me the whole time - which is fun, it feels like we are friends. I really enjoy my appointments, plus I have already noticed an improvement in my symptoms.
