After sitting in the orthopedic surgeon's waiting for an hour and a half on two occasions waiting for the referral to come through, it never did. I decided that Kathy Hall might be able to get this expedited. Well, I was wrong. After calling her every day for a week and getting no return phone call, she finally left me a message saying that she would call me that Friday. I waited at home all day waiting for her phone call which never came. I am beyond fed up with this lack of customer service and lack of respect for one of her clients. I will not recommend her to others and my husband will not continue to be one of her clients. What started years ago as a pleasant experience with her, has now eroded into a "no customer service" experience. I would have shared this with Kathy if she would have returned my calls or at least come through with her promise to call me. Will never deal with her again.

Unfortunately, no one person at Medicare seemed to know exactly what forms were needed or even who to ask. Researching this myself became a nightmare - and I consider myself to be an intelligent educated person. I reached out to Kathy Hall for assistance, and I am so glad that I did. She clarified the paperwork needed, walked us through the various plans and options, found a plan for me that covers all my doctors and medications, and a plan for my husband that gives him money back. I don't think I do business in any capacity with anyone I trust more than Ms.Ems . Do not use Melissa Ems Insurance! Trying to find an agency…read morethat is proactive and attentive is difficult. Melissa Ems is neither of these. After our active hurricane season, I needed a quote on both homeowners and flood insurance. I met with Jeff, one of their employees. Jeff is a great salesman, promising to help research and find the best coverage at the lowest price. Once you sign up with Jeff, you never hear from him again. You are forwarded to other employees who are supposed to manage your case. Most often, I would get the office manager Diane, who made excuses saying they had so many clients they couldn't get back to everybody. Wait, what? So my policy can lapse because you have too many people to serve? Find another agency that has the ability to serve all of their clients.

If you enroll in any of the policies here with title "SELECT"…read more - understand it means very few local places will take your "insurance" and you are essentially paying for a policy which almost everything is "Out of Network" - the few places that take "SELECT" are either not taking new patients, have long waits for open appointments, far away or not good - buyer beware! I wish I knew, would NEVER EVER EVER enroll gain in FL Blue SELECT. Also this FL Blue Center is commission-based salespeople who sell Florida Blue policies which are crazy expensive and not widely taken by local medical practices - Florida Blue Select PPO for example has a completely different in-network providers than Florida blue select HMO - search for yourself - maybe 6 ENTs within 30 miles that are "in-network" and then you call them and nope, not accepted. when you actually pay the huge premiums and later find out almost none of your doctors actually accept this insurance it is up to you to track all of the "out of network" spending to finally get some compensation - even in network, it is very common for charges to de denied for up to 12 months before settling with the provider - totally unhappy with Florida Blue sold bv this Florida Blue Center...their answer? To send me a "mental health" survey? Got to be kidding - avoid even thinking about buying an individual health insurance policy here. James no longer works at this location, I had an awesome experience with him in the past, but fell for the sales pitch with someone else.. They will use scare tactics.
