### Important Update -- Please Support Our Local Small Businesses…read more I wanted to share an important update regarding **MagicasGemas and the other small businesses in the area.** There appears to be an ongoing dispute between building management and the property/leasing management across the way, which includes the parking structure. As a result, a solid panel fence has been placed between the parking area and the walkway that customers and small business owners have traditionally used. Unfortunately, this makes it **look as though the businesses are closed or inaccessible when they are NOT.** **MagicasGemas is OPEN!** Customers simply need to walk to the **end of the fence and enter from the street-side sidewalk** to reach the business. This situation is affecting not just MagicasGemas, but the other hardworking small businesses in the area as well. Please don't assume they're closed because the usual walkway is blocked. **Please continue to support these local businesses.** Make the extra few minutes to walk around the fence, visit, shop, and let the owners know that their community hasn't forgotten them. Small businesses depend on our support, especially when circumstances beyond their control make it harder for customers to find them. **Please share this update so people know: THEY ARE OPEN! ** #SupportSmallBusiness #ShopLocal #SupportLocalBusiness #MagicasGemas

I really was about to drive all the way to LA I was on google and found this place, I wasn't too sure at first, but when I walked in the owner greeted me she was so sweet & helpful with everything I needed. I actually ended up staying and talking to her for a while, just about life and other things she's absolutely amazing and deserves the best! She really made me feel comfortable and at home if that makes any sense and that's the type of vibe that you want when you are shopping for these types of things. She gave me a discount and I got everything I needed and more. I would definitely recommend this place! I've noticed a lot of shops around the valley are overpriced. She definitely has everything priced decently and you can tell that she has a pure heart. 10000000/10

Glided in today to this Ventura Blvd meet slightly west of Van Nuys Blvd gem for some spiritual essentials. It was a little busy with a few people in store shopping and exploring. The vibes were good, calm and inviting with Denise on register. I didn't plan to get much but ended up with some patchouli incense, black tourmaline (cleansing aura, dispelling negative energies/thoughts) and apache tea crystals (emotional healing) and a cleansing kit I had recently seen on the HOI online shop. The store had a new brightness to it with a slight shift in displays since my first trip in a few years ago. I stop in once in a blue moon and am definitely glad I strolled in today. The harmony of Fleetwood Mac (via Stevie Nicks) Seven Wonders leading the way. Palo Santo, candles, cards, crystals, kits, stones, charms, tarot, and beyond. This intuitive/spiritual/holistic and more shop is still one I adore. All items are very reasonable in price and of quality. Ample street parking (metered) and local lots being your best access as well as local LA Metro bus transit. I'm roughly a twenty to twenty five minute walk away. So when the weather is nice I definitely find my way here. The service is great and all the staff is extremely knowledgeable. They have a little over half a dozen locations with the Echo Park store being their flagship. The Sherman Oaks store being their only San Fernando Valley shop and one I implore you to explore. Open from 11am to 7pm all seven days of the week, "If I live to see the seven wonders.... I'll make a path to the rainbow's end..."
