PROS: *Doctors seem to genuinely care about their patients…read more *If you do not have medical insurance they will provide free or majorly discounted treatment and discounted medications at their in-house pharmacy. *They take walk-in patients on short notice if you need to see someone right away. You may have a long wait time if you didn't have an appointment but, I think that's to be expected. *They have liaisons to assist you with applying for SSDI, Medicare, and other benefits. CONS: *The parking situation is usually a nightmare. *You cannot contact your doctor or their assistant directly. You must go through the appointment department and they are not always efficient or polite. And, sometimes they are awesome. Unfortunately, it is hit or miss with them. You must stay on top of the situation. One of my personal experiences with Citrus after contacting an unprofessional law firm for help with my SSDI case: I went to Citrus Health Network, a local community healthcare/mental health clinic and met with Lauren, their Social Security Liaison. Within a few months she helped me to get approved for SSDI and Medicare. I received three years' worth of back benefits very quickly. I had my first of many needed surgeries shortly after that and it was fully covered by Medicare. Lauren accomplished what I couldn't, working around the clock for three years, in just a few months. She was so pleasant and easy to work with. She answered and returned calls either immediately or close to it every time. She stayed right on top of everything on both my end and with Social Security. She is a true Angel. All of her time and service was completely free of charge. YES, FREE! I kept 100% of all three years of back pay. She was always professional and caring. If you are in need of benefits please check with your local community clinics to find out if they have a benefits liaison before contacting lawyers. She saved me so much time and money. I did not have to give a third of my money to someone (a lawyer) who only cared about making money and not my health. I am forever grateful to Lauren and Citrus.

When I asked him about this over the phone he told me that he changed his mind on what he should start me on. Terrible!

I had 2 evaluations, 1 from my PCP Dr. Martin Valdes, Internal Medicine and one from my Psychiatrist, Dr. Liana Mendoza. Dr. Martin Valdes found the nodule on my throat, not may doctors have found it. He set me up with a sonogram, right there in the office - I don't have to go to 2 different places, and wait until the report is read. He gave me medicine from my intercystial Cystitis, which he knew about the disease. Very Impressed. Dr. Liana Mendoza was fantastic, since she read my digital file that I filled out prior to the visit, she asked me what can she do to help, and how was my medication working? I told her the truth, and she consulted me on the current medication, and made some suggestions. The medication was sent to the Pharmacy and ready in no time. I have my follow ups in 2 weeks, either virtual or an office visit. In between appointments, I receive a call from Melissa at Customer Service letting me know that if there is anything I need to please save her number and call her at anytime. I am glad that I finally found a place where the office personnel treat me like a person, not a number. I have made a new place me. I am confident that whomever goes there will have the same treatment as I did.

My uncle has been going to this office and for quite some time and to say the service is mediocre…read morewould be being polite. He has been in need of certain documents to provide to his employer and each time they schedule him to pick up the paperwork there is an issue. Rather than giving the paperwork to him yesterday they told him to come back today and they are CLOSED! Aside from the fact that he was there YESTERDAY, this office is 45 minutes away from his home and HE DOESN'T DRIVE! So not only is it an inconvenience to him but also to whoever needs to bring him. Your time is not respected at all. The office called when he was halfway there to say "Sorry, you can't come today because we are closed. Oops!". This is unacceptable for any business but more so for a facility providing mental health services. Mental health is delicate and there is a standard of care that needs to be provided not only by the Dr. but also their staff. Your staff is a reflection of you. Their incompetence reflects back on you regardless of your years of experience. I would NOT recommend this facility, AT ALL. I have been and will continue to encourage my uncle to find care elsewhere.

There is no phone number for the service allows you to speak, person-to-person, with a human being. That being said, the extra star is there because they might be alright at therapy. They just come off as greedy and cold before you get in the door. P.S. The aforementioned "door" is metaphorical as they are still Tele-health only. At this juncture in the pandemic, it just seems impersonal.
