Dr. French was scrubbing outside the operating room as I was scrubbing and prepping the patient's surgical area. As Dr. French tried to get into the operating room the door stuck. I stopped, scrubbing the patient and went over to the door. Staying in sterile mode, put my arm under the latch to open the door for him. He then kicked the door open with his boot, knocking me into the wall, to the point where I slid down the tiles. My own physician happened to be in the room, and when I looked up , the rest of the staff in the rooms faces were in were in total shock... mouths hanging open. Since I hade been able to continue to maintain sterility, as I slid down the wall from his kick, I worked myself back up to a standing position and went to continue to scrub the patient and prep her for her surgery. No words were ever spoken. I never received any type of acknowledgment or apology from Dr. French, and only by word of mouth, heard that he had to go to anger management for his actions. He showed no concern or consideration for what he had done. His surgery techniques were very good. Yet, his interaction with an actual person or show of concern in any way we're nonexistent. If you want any kind of compassion from him, forget it. He is all about the dollar.

If I were mandated to express my feelings here towards Dr. French, I'm concerned readers would think it was a purchased review. In summary, Dr. French is the most talented, knowledgeable, and considerate Orthopedic Surgeon I could hope to cross paths with in my lifetime. His ability and desire to convey the level of explanation I needed for each of the surgeries helped me to prepare for the pending trauma. He has always been there for me. My only concern is that when Dr. French leaves his practice, I'll lose my go to person for helping me with all of my orthopedic needs. I have done seral sessions im the cryotherapy chamber, and it has made a huge impact on my muscle recovery! As someone that has struggled with autoimmune issues that have led to pain and reduced activity, I can now work out 3 days a week and my pain level has decreased significantly. I went to four or five therapists in the Lewiston-Clarkston area and only two are worth mentioning. The therapy department at St Josephs Hospital in Lewiston which I consider fully adequate but then my hands down favorite is Twin Rivers PT in Clarkston. They are skilled, effective, supportive, and while they do take care of business, they give me the impression they aren't in this just for the bucks. Dare I use the word "dedicated". OK so I don't trust 100% reviews either so let's see.... The background music is just off the air and usually sucks. Take your headphones and small radio. Also (compared to other PT places) the women don't dress like they are heading to a cocktail party. OBTW, when your regular therapy program is over you can go back for a very affordable Wellness Program. You are allowed to use the equipment but without the usual therapist's attentiveness. Also, the deal is that you avoid their busy hours. Still, this a really nice touch.

He told me that wouldn't prevent deposits from dislodging and causing problems (true enough). Within three months of taking the medication, I had a severe Achilles tendon injury and developed acute pain in both of my shoulders and elbows. I've never had these issues before. Adkins mentioned nothing about these very common side-effects. In addition, when I talked about a separate, "sensitive" issue, his tone changed, and I felt very uncomfortable--judged might be a better term. Furthermore, although I had told the receptionist about several issues I was having when I made my appointment, Adkins cut me off after only 15 min., and I was not able to discuss my other health issues. I was asked to make another appointment. The only available slot was in three months and would be another co--pay and insurance billing. Had I been given better information, I would have put off taking a statin until I was older and less active. I also have questions about why some of my issues were not billed as "preventative" when they clearly were. Needless to say, I have changed doctors. I do not recommend Dr. Adkins. I'm switching to direct primary care. PS. I don't blame Dr. Adkins fully for all of this. I also blame a failing health care systemin which he works.

He is quick at responding to these messages and if it is something that requires an official visit, he will kindly ask you to come in to discuss it further.
