Lumina Massage is heaven sent (cue the harps) I began receiving prenatal massages during my second…read moretrimester and continued every week all the way to my due date (and beyond). I credit the massages to one of the reasons I still felt great in my third trimester when I was large and in charge. She takes her time to figure out the troublesome areas before each massage and she also helps prepare your body for labor. It was honestly the best investment I made to my body while pregnant. But wait that's not all. I had a massage the week after birth! At home! Praise the Lord, Hallelujah After 36 hours in labor, mama needed some reinforcements and again I highly recommend doing this after as well. I'm now a year postpartum I've continued to get massages as part of my self care routine (everyone needs self care). Believe me between nursing and running after a baby the massages are still much needed. If you are pregnant, have any kind of pain (she specializes in pain as well) or just enjoy a great massage, Lumina should be on your speed dial. (Does anyone have speed dial anymore? I just dated myself didn't I) Favorites, she should be on your favorites.

Mike was very professional and worked on all my troubled spots. He didn't "yak" through the massage which I have experienced with some therapist. I will return to see Mike again. I called their number first and the recording said to text them at the same number, which I did. Within 30 minutes I was texted back and got my appt. They emailed me the intake form and was easily filled out and returned to them. Easy peasy!

I'm very disappointed with their customer service…read more We purchased a 3 massage gift package. We were able to use 1 with no issues. The massage was good but pretty much what you'd expect from any decent masseuse. Nothing outstanding, but fine. When we tried to make a subsequent appointment, they were booked but would call when something became available or they opened up later time periods. They never called. When we found the certificate when cleaning later and tried to redeem the remaining massages, we were told it had expired and was no longer valid. That's incredibly poor customer service and a total rip off (only 1 of 3 massages was redeemed due to their lack of availability). I'll admit that we should have followed up again, but life happened to us too, not to mention Hurricane Helene devastating this area and caring for my father as he fought and then died of cancer. While I desperately needed a massage, it wasn't on my mental to do list to follow up with them when we were told that we were on a list to be notified. Keeping in mind that this service was something that does not expire, nor would it take away from her ability to provide services to other clients as the three sessions had already been paid for in advance. However, I expected a certain amount of understanding and honoring the certificate and the money already spent, but nope, just an insincere apology and no option to redeem even one of the remaining massages. It felt like a slap in the face the call and request a massage to help me to release stress after burying my dad and to get no sympathy or understanding. I hope if the owner ever faces a family challenge like we did that she finds others are just as (un)compassionate as she was. I will never use them again and I would strongly advise you to use of the other options in the area if you're looking for a gift certificate for a gift for others or yourself. I certainly would not want my money stolen from me in the form of a service, which was done to us.
