She was such a calming presence and really listened to my specific pain points. Lindy's massage skills are perfect with great communication throughout her treatment. I really felt that my needs were addressed above and beyond. Not only did I leave feeling refreshed, but she even took time to offer and teach me a few helpful stretching techniques to help my pain points. This was my first visit and I'll definitely be coming back again! :) About booking the appointment: The location is convenient and I loved how easy the online booking was. I was able to find the date and time I needed quickly and seamlessly. As a new customer, they also emailed the client intake form an hour after I booked my appointment and it was easy and convenient to it fill out electronically before my appointment. Great features!

Three people came out (of which the space is very small and dark), and they spoke amongst each other to see who would take who and for which service (head hydromassage and body massage - 60 minutes each). I went into my room for a body massage. Bed not warm, and just a cheap sheet on. The message was very VERY rough. messaged over towels (not warmed). I thought I would be getting a rub burn. THEN, later, the oil comes out, and she wore gloves, which were ... bunched-up on her hands, so I felt that. I then turned over, and she basically threw a towel over my eyes (not warm, just a towel!). VERY painful, even when I stated it was too hard, many times. Also, the movements were very VERY fast, and not whole - relaxing. There are a couple of other things that made me very uncomfortable, but I will leave it at that. I almost just stopped the appointment a few times. I prob should have. The hydromassage was .... okay. 60 minutes is WAY too long for that. NOT going back.

The atmosphere is so peaceful, luxurious, clean, and incredibly chic while still feeling warm and welcoming. As a postpartum mom, I've been battling hormonal acne and congestion, and Julianna gave me such an amazing experience from start to finish with my first Hydrafacial. She was incredibly kind, sensitive, compassionate, encouraging, and positive. She truly listened to my concerns, made me feel comfortable, boosted my confidence, and understood my needs throughout the entire appointment. Julianna is hands down one of the best estheticians I've ever experienced, with such a warm and amazing personality. I'm a singer/artist constantly under stage lights, cameras, heavy makeup, and performing, and this gave me such a huge boost of confidence going into a full weekend of performances. I genuinely have not felt my skin feel this calm, smooth, and uncongested in YEARS. I highly recommend Skin & Body Spa and especially Julianna. I genuinely cannot wait to go back next month. I've been to Olia's twice now and can't wait for my third session!…read more I've tried several massages studios in the greater Acton area but this has been the most enjoyable experience I've had! I've always kept a lot of tension in my shoulders, which is even worse now that I'm balancing college and a professional life. I've always been nervous to ask for a deep tissue massage because I heard they hurt and I didn't want to ask for something I didn't need. You have no worries with Olia- simply go into her spacious, relaxing room and she will get you all set up, then assess your muscles. She was able to work out all my knots the first day, validating that I do need deep tissue, and further offering suggestions around alleviating back stress in my every day life. I went back last week for a hot bamboo massage, which was very soothing and is said to stimulate the lymph system (to drain extra, stored fluid) and the immune system, which can never hurt in the height of cold and flu season. I left both sessions feeling a deep and relaxing sense of calm and positive energy. I don't mean to sound like a hippie but I was honestly so relaxed and felt such a sense of good will, and was not burdened by worries at all. Especially after the hot bamboo I was so relaxed that I wanted to go home and nap! :) Self care is the most important key to balancing a healthy life, whether you're crazy busy like me, or if you've reached a calmer, more regulated part of your life. Olia is sweet, helpful and has a wonderful sense of humor. She will put you at ease, and help improve the quality of your life- on and off the massage table!
