When I got there, I paid for the hour and she showed me to the room. It took me a few minutes to realize she was the only one working and was in the middle of a session with another client! Things seemed a little sketchy, so I got dressed and was about to leave when her co-worker arrived. She looked older and very petite, and I didn't think she could do a good job (I prefer firm, deep pressure). Boy was I wrong! She began by asking how hard or soft I wanted and where my trouble spots were. After I told her, she got right to work. She used a variety of strokes - full body from shoulder to ankle, as well as small strokes on specific pressure points. She used her forearms, heels of her hand, thumbs, everything - all the while with firm, deep pressure. Her hands were soft but strong, plus she was very knowledgeable about the body's pressure points and musculature. I was very sore going in, and she worked almost all of that soreness out. Just shows you can't judge a book by it's cover! I'll definitely come back.

We chose the combo massage - 30 minute body & 30 min foot massage Husband's massage was great but mine was not . My back was "ok" but the feet part was horrible. I caught the man asleep when I looked up . Smh In the beginning he asked where he would be focused on and I asked he focus on my legs -literally the whole reason I went in. He never touched my legs from the knee down which is especially where I'm hurting , STILL I wasn't going to say anything but when I was asked how I liked the massage , I simply said I didn't . He kind of laughed but the lady came and asked and at that point I was so mad at being laughed at that I let her know he had fallen asleep. He tried to deny it but it was evident he did. At one point I looked up and his head was bowed as if asleep and he literally only caressed the bottom of my feet . Heck no! I can caress my own feet! That was so not reflexology On to the next spot!

In the waiting room, I noticed a salt crystal lamp and mentioned that my uncle had given me one for Christmas one year. At first I thought it was a strange gift, but now I love it. Ashley, the massage therapist, explained that the salt crystal lamps discharge negative ions to counterbalance the positive ions with which we are bombarded every day from various electronic devices.
