I went there because one of my finger was hurting and both of my hand they're in pain they didn't I really do anything they put my hand in the heating pad for 15 minutes which is wasn't necessary, because after that, they didn't gave me any Exercise then she massage my hand for five minutes with the cream and right away try to sell that cream and charge me .also they try to sell me Rest band which is covered with my insurance. I said I don't want it. I'm waiting for Insurance ,they said if I didn't show in my appointment they are going to charge me $50 then I asked them why you are not calling me or you're not texting me for my Appointment ,one day before they say , We are going to charge if we do ,but for you this time no charge . She gave me some exercise Picture on a paper that I have to do at home I said I'm coming here for one hour. How come you don't practice with me she says no you have to do at home. How come you don't practice with me here if she says no, you have to do at home, Then she put half inch tape to my hand, which is ripped after one hour, and when I went there second time I ask her at least wrap the tape around my hand properly ,I can do that at home ,she wrapped the cheap carelessly and said ((next time I will charge you 10$ )) after30 Minute the tape ripped I had a picture. I stop Going there and I cancel all my appointment and I'm going to call my insurance Medicare and said all the stores, some old people goes there and they charge the insurance like they charge my insurance they make money from insurance and they sell that stuff, I am going to write all this on Yelp too . read more

Just had the most amazing experience at Healing Hands Rehab, Inc. in Calabasas. I was recommended by my doctor at S.C.O.I. to rehab a recent sports injury (right hand / wrist) specifically at Healing Hands .. To me, first impression is EVERYTHING. I was greeted by a wonderful woman (Sand) at the front desk who couldn't have been more gracious and warm. She answered all of my questions prior to my session. Super professional! I was then taken back to the rehab area where Stacy (OTR/L,CHT) and another sensational therapist, Page gave me a thorough exam and exercise program. Both ladies are "pro's." Bottom line, in today's fast paced world of medicine where most personnel "get you in and out" .. I found it quite the opposite at Healing Hands. Stacy was great, as was the front desk lady. They were able to get me in right away for a replacement finger splint for my broken pinky, and Stacy did a great job fitting it so it didn't irritate the skin on my finger. The last one I had (made at another place) was too uncomfortable to wear properly, and this new one is perfect. Nice environment and friendly, knowledgeable staff. I am a retired surgeon and have been a patient at Healing Hands on a number of occasions. The professionals and staff at this Organization are beyond reproach. Stacy Cook, the principal at Healing Hands is extremely knowledgeable, professional, always pleasant and a pleasure to work with. Her staff is caring and efficient to where you may get a call in the evening offering you other times on a day that you've been scheduled that have become available and may work better for you. I rarely write on yelp but during this time of spiking Covid results and in concern for my community, I feel compelled to write this. My orthopedist recommended Healing Hands in Calabasas. I saw great reviews (all prior to Covid) right here on yelp, the hand therapist was friendly and good(that's why there is a star), but the office manager was not wearing a mask while on the phone at the front desk. When I politely asked her to please put on a mask she became irritated, put it on, but under her nose and seemed super irritated when speaking with me. I'm at high risk and my husband immune compromised. Everyone else was wearing masks. She said she doesn't wear it when on the phone. She wasn't wearing it correctly either (under her nose) and I had to correct her on that so we could discuss the issue. When I was leaving, I thought I would make another appointment, because after speaking with her, I was sure she would have corrected the behavior, but she was at the front desk, on the phone, with her mask off! So I walked out. This is a medical office and professionalism is expected and mask wearing is mandated whether on the phone or not. I only wish I could have spoken to the owner to give her a chance to educate her employee and emphasize how important this is in caring for her clients in a respectful way, but I would have gotten the office manager, so this was my only recourse. I will be taking my business elsewhere, I suggest you do the same for you own safety and that of others during this time. read more

Very personable and knowledgeable staff. All COVID precautions taken every appointment (masks, temperature taken, a good hand wash all completed in a spacious setting conducive to social distancing). They were quite helpful in easing the pain of arthritis and I received numerous stretches and strengthening exercises for ongoing home care. Would definitely go back if needed. read more

If I could give 10 stars I would. Healing hands is an amazing hand therapy facility. The staff are caring, empathetic, and patient. Sand is the office manager whom does everything in her power to accommodate every patient with love and concern. Stacy the owner is absolutly fabulous. Not only is her positive and friendly personality infectious, she is a true healer. Stacy has a depth of knowlege and experience with hand therapy with the most complicated cases like no therapist I have ever seen before. I have been seen by other hand therapists not at Healing Hands for 3 different surgeries and when I was seen by Stacy and her staff from day 1, I felt like I was part of a healing family. In response to the negative posting on here I have had the total opposite experience at Healing Hands Rehab! The office administrator has always been so professional and accommodating! During this whole COVID mess it's difficult or impossible to find a medical office that's totally private! Temperatures are taken with each visit and the place is always being cleaned! While there each person has maintained the social distancing, except for the therapist while working on you, and masks are always worn! If your immune system is compromised please consider staying home! Healing Hands Rehab is the best around and I will continue to recommend it to anyone that needs hand therapy!! My first and last visit was with them in June. I had the displeasure of having the owner as my thereapist. She was very judgemental about my personal life right off the bat. She asked me about my living situation and when I told her I lived with my fiancee, she as offended and disgusted. The office is not very clean and not very private. There is no confidentiality to be had in this office. There is a table in a shape of a horseshoe and you are being treated and spoken to while there is someone else next to you listening to your business. She also shares and office with a physical therapist and that physical therapist has a big mouth. He spoke very openly to another woman about the previous patient's treatment and how he was faking not better so he can get more disability and that he is a big drug addict. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE BUSINESS, YOUR PRIVACY IS NOT SAFE!!! There needs to be a no star rating for this place. read more

I had a ganglion cyst (like carpal tunnel) surgically taken out of my left wrist. My last appointment was on 7/28/14 for occupational therapy. I worked with Beatrice and one time with Stacey, both amazing! They got me back to normal, ahead of schedule! My doctor was impressed with my results, I couldn't believe it!! Each time I came in for my appointment, the front desk lady (name?) was always ready with my chart/sign in sheet, and would walk me back for my appointment without me having to wait. The room was open with a half circle table which allowed Stacey & Beatrice to help 2 patients at a time if needed or just to keep an eye on things. This was nice being able to see other customers come in and share stories, if they wanted to. It was also interesting to see people in the different healing stages. I never felt rushed and I always felt cared for like a family member. I'm lucky to have found this place! The front desk lady even took time and found a certain bank for a customer when she was struggling with her phone.She dropped everything and helped her, So sweet! Coming here for hand therapy is a great choice!! The office environment is very friendly and cheerful. Also while being treated I have met a few patients going through a similar injury and it gave me the confidence that I will get better because I felt discouraged by my injured hand.
