I had a very uncomfortable situation here. I arrived for a session and found that there are no…read moreprivate spaces for sessions. A client is expected to sit in an area, elbow to elbow with 2 other customers and 3 practitioners, none of which were wearing masks. And discuss what health issues have triggered the visit. That was incredibly odd and I've never seen that before. I appreciate that they moved me to a private bath area for the prepaid situation but the practitioner practically shrieked at me when I asked about masks and vaccine status. We were in a very small bathroom-size space with limited air flow and she was not wearing a mask. As a family member is immune compromised, I must always assess my risks and I asked them to wear a mask. In short, I felt I had to fight for basic safe practices and made to feel like I was "asking too much". It was the opposite of relaxing and healing. If I had not prepaid this session, I would have walked out. No matter what your politics are, Covid 19 is still a deadly reality for people who have immune compromised folks in their family. Any business should be willing to reasonably discuss this with customers if there are red flags like multiple customers squeezed into small spaces without masks. If you are considering this place, I highly recommend you visit first and check it out. If you are okay with these practices, that's great. If you are looking for the privacy and safety most people expect in a spa visit, this is not the place.

My second visit though, left a bit to be desired. I went for a float, just like the first time, but from the moment I entered the room, I was sneezing. I'm allergic to cats and mold. I scoured the room but could not find any mold or cats, so something was amiss. My best friend who went with me had a much better time. I dunno. Maybe it was my recent diet or something? I can only speculate. My first visit was 5 stars. If it wasn't for the sneezing issue, this visit would be too. I hope the next time I come I don't have the sneezing issue again.

When we entered the room, the room is lightly dim and cozy. Our masseuse came in the room in 5 minutes and start our hot stone first. I love the fact that my masseuse therapist(Louis) didn't speak much and let me enjoy my session. Didn't realize how sore my muscle was until the hot stone treatment. Mom say the hot stone lacks a bit of pressure, maybe I should get her the deep tissue next time. As our facials goes, we LOVE the facials. My mom says Handled With Care facials are so much better than Asian facials beauty parlor.
