BEST VET- Lone Peak Vet is top notch. While on vacation one of my dogs developed a skin infection…read moreand Lone Peak vet got him in the next day and it was easily handled. While there they notice his nail was getting a slight infection and due to his past he needed to be put to sleep to handle it. Tito (my dog) came out and was so much happier and playful within just 2 days- I feel very lucky to have taken my dog to this Vet clinic. A couple days later my other dog unfortunately got attacked. Lone peak got him in the day before Christmas very last minute and worked overtime to ensure Rory could get stitched up and a drain put in. Both times lone peak vet called after to see if there was anything else they could help with and to ensure the dogs were doing fine. The only thing I'm sad about is that I don't live in big sky year round so my pups can't go back for their care when needed. The vet also was responsive in evenings and weekends by text when I had concerns.

Lone Peak Veterinary Hospital is the worst vet I've ever had to deal with. over 25yrs i've had 7…read moredogs, 3 cats, a goldfish and a bird. Convenience and popularity should never be confused with quality. I had the absolute worst customer service experience (yet again in Big Sky) I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Shit happens, i get that, and it works both ways. But how you respond is what matters. I'll never use them. They don't need you. They act like they don't even want you.

I've only ever had great service and animal care at Montana Equine - so after reading some of the…read morenegative reviews I felt it's necessary to leave my own. Dr. Emily Green has been consistent and thorough from first PPE on my Horse to catching issues another local vet missed that changed another one of our horses lives. I've only worked with Dr. Green, and have found her to be a vet who takes the least invasive approach - with choices like PRP and/or ShockWave therapy before just injecting steroids. Her approach has gifted my horse a healthy, sound body after years of high performance injuries that caused frequent lameness. I've found their office to be extremely helpful every time I call in and they've worked with me quickly in situations that required urgency (ie, getting us a sedative within minutes while our farrier was mid-way through a set - unable to calm our kicking horse to finish). I have nothing but great things to say about Montana Equine :)

Extremely disappointed with the lack of professionalism and communication. With the Equine Herpes…read moreVirus...I was astounded by the carelessness of the vet. Because he was careless, arrogant and overconfident...several horses were exposed unnecessarily. When I questioned the vet about this exposure...he simply hung up the phone. There was no concern, apology, or remorse for his sloppy and inexcusable performance. If a veterinarian diagnoses, " tying up," and tells the client that he is certain that's all it is," imagine the panic when said veterinarian finally gets around to communicating with the client...after horses are exposed. I would NEVER recommend this facility or the vet. It was nearly 24 hours before any notification was given although the tests came back positive much sooner.
