She is certainly fearful, but under the circumstance I felt like the aggression was a reaction to the pain and stress. She had been spayed and a few of her stitches came apart and she got an infection, obviously she was fearful and in pain. In combination, she is a very fearful dog anyways. At All west, they were understanding of our bad experience and they take things at the dogs pace. I appreciate that they are very upfront and clear about pricing and services. The technicians are patient and helpful, the vet has been amazing...and probably more patient with me! I've been really nervous about getting care for my dog fearing that the veterinarian would be always a terrible experience. They make it positive and we don't avoid it any more! Can't say enough good things.

I'm just very impressed overall with this vet hospital and how every single person on staff is so attentive and goes above and beyond to take care of you and your furry family member, whether you show, breed, or just need a vet and staff to take care of your family pet.

Roughly 40 minutes before picking up my dogs, I got a phone call about my pet being in distress with no obvious external wounds. When I got there, I was able to identify an external puncture wound upon inspection, which required advanced wound care, and internal and external stitches. I understand pets get hurt, but the condition in which I found her was not an acute onset of symptoms. The wound was older and needed immediate medical attention. Additionally, Summit did not handle it well and denied any explanation as to why my pet was hurt. They acted cold and unapologetic. They offered no assistance and did not even call the check on her condition after visiting the emergency room. Due to their overall assessment and reaction to my pet being hurt, and the nature of the situation, I no longer trust any of my pets in their care and cannot continue to recommend them.

He is a very sweet animal and will say hi to anyone. They tried to tell me he didn't like male figures but my dog is very well socialized and will walk up to anyone, granted has been trained by men and is always around them. I'm not saying they beat him but something definitely happened to my dog that made him not want to return After hearing friends having the same instance where their dog wouldn't even go in the door and running into one of their employees that told me they did not like my dog and to stop taking him there for the wellbeing of my dog I finally after a long debate decided to post this. Do not take your dog here. They don't care about the dogs and don't cap however many dogs come in. My dog has been picked up with rashes and smelling like he was doused in feces. They also disregarded any and all of his formal training. The facility isn't clean and the staff lacks the proper communication skills.
