Ms. Joyce and Ms. Danielle are true professionals who create such a safe, caring, and nurturing environment for the children. They also make sure everything is done according to city and state guidelines, which gave me so much peace of mind. I had to withdraw my daughter for a while because we needed full-time care, and we enrolled her at Vinci. Unfortunately, after only four months, we had a very negative and traumatic experience there, and my family went through a lot of stress. We decided to return to Early Years because it was the only place we felt we could truly trust again. When Ms. Joyce and Ms. Danielle heard what had happened to my daughter, they both teared up, and they supported me step by step through what to do next. That level of compassion and genuine care meant the world to us. My son went there from 3 months to 17 months and he was treated wonderfully. Ms. Diane was always so supportive and ready to answer my questions any time I needed. Ms. Behnaz and Ms Meg saw him crawl and begin to walk. They loved him and truly encouraged him every step of the way. Ms. Meaa was there to welcome him every morning with a beautiful smile and so much positive energy. Ms Sherri always told me the positive things my boy was up to during the day. And Ms. Monir. I can't even begin to thank her. She was there with my son from his first day there to his last. She has been such a positive influence and taught him and me so much. All the teachers have been very caring and very flexible. The center is small, but that's a good thing. It creates a family feel. My son made his first friends there and the center encouraged that friendship. He was always picked up with a clean diaper. I was always told if he had the sniffles or a cough and even if his potty was not the best. They really care about the kids. I was extremely nervous because my child wasn't going to be in the care of a family member any longer. When my daughter started, she knew her ABCs, numbers 1-20, shapes and colors. A couple of months later, my daughter was writing, reading and able to sound out words she did not know. She also learned how to count to 100+ and add and subtract! I was actually blown away with all she learned in such a short period of time. In addition, because the class is small each child receives enough 1 on 1 time with the instructor, Ms. Millis. Ms. Millis, is a wonderful teacher. Under her care and teaching, the little ones are not only very well educated they are also taught the love of God. It's a special thing because it keeps children grounded. My daughter absolutely loves Ms. Millis and she respects her a great deal. My child is now an early entrance student and scored 99% in all categories (reading, writing, math) to be accepted to Kindergarten. I'm so proud of my daughter and I am so thankful that we found this school! During the summertime, if the children remain enrolled they go on field trips everyday to places like Aviation Museums, Amusement Parks, Playgrounds, Rollerskating, Bowling, Swimming etc. If you are looking for someone that cares for your child and does extremely well educating children while centering around the Christian faith...You can't go wrong! After touring many places over the years, I've noticed that when staff only want you to come at a specific time and refuse to allow you to come at other times it is a red flag. Even if kids are napping, I can peek through a window or at least just meet with a teacher. Celine seemed to understand that I was pressed for time, and worked with my neuroses! She was kind, understanding and flexible. I would, at the very least, schedule a tour and meet her/see her daycare.

Orientation and the assessment were free as advertised, and administered by Ms. Diane who runs this location. She let me know where my son stood academically and made recommendations. She also informed me that registration was free for the upcoming month and that I should wait. I thought that was nice of her because that saved me money. I decided we wld enroll my son in the Reading program. Well fast forward present day, almost a month in and I am very pleased with our choice. It is well worth the monthly fee. The tutors are all friendly and accommodating and patient with the students. Each tutor only works w/ 1-2 students at a time. There's an actual lesson plan they follow and they seem serious about it. They even have a reward system just like school. I love that they reinforce the lessons with homework because it helps my son retain the info and also gives me the opportunity to see what he's working on and test his knowledge. It really seems to be working! $160 per subject, 30 min sessions twice a week... I've called other tutoring services & Kumon was most affordable. I say go for it... It's worth the investment in your child's future.

They also failed to effectively communicate that they didn't provide transportation on 2 hour delayed school openings, if I would've been informed, I would've dropped my kid off initially myself, instead of bringing her to them first just to be declined of the service I pay them for and be even more later to work...total inconvenience. When transferring my son into the Anne Arundel County School District, his counsel (Ms. Worsham) was very involved and accomodating with the process. Improvements could be made on the etiquette of the school bus drivers. I've had my son relay some interesting events that happen on the bus. Often when you go to the school parking is reserved for the administration so on parent/teacher conferences, picking up after a school outing the parking lot cannot accomodate a lot of vehicles so you'll find people parked in the grass, bus lane or anywhere their car will fit. The availability of the online accesses to communicate with teachers is great. What I don't like is when I get an email about an assignment that hasn't been turned in only to be told upon further inquiry that it hasn't been entered in the system. This is a good way to track progress, homework and school assignments so that when a child gets their grades you are not surprised because you have the tools to monitor it. Gone are the days of free field trips. I'm not in love with the many field trips they have @ $35 a pop. I understand cultural events but if you read the notices they send home it states that if for any reason the trip is canceled you won't recieve a refund. Not a fan of that and I'm sure that they are obligated to disclose how/where your money was spent. Overall, good notification protocols when there are unforeseen events, weather or simply keeping parents in the loop on upcoming school events.
