After seeing my condition, I added a $50 service (15 mins) to sanitize, eliminate bacteria, and enhance scalp health. I dont have too much experience with massages. so i went in wearing makeup, earrings, and a necklace. all of which you shouldn't. makeup gets washed off before facial. she proceeded to massage my ears/neck with my jewelry on, which is not ideal, so I wish I was told to take it off before starting. Purchased a Groupon that gave me almost half off the essential haircare package. Making an appointment was easy - you can use their online booking platform to find a time that works for you. I arrived to my appointment a few minutes early and it was almost as if they were surprised to see me. I had to wait 20 minutes before they could take me in, which was a negative start to my experience. However, once I was shown in, my experience was very comfortable. They first start by running a camera through your hair to show you what your roots and scalp look like. It is not for the squeamish. I was recommended to upgrade to the deep clean but given it would have been another 20 minutes tacked on to my time and I had to leave to do a school pickup, I opted to stick with the essentials package. You are brought into a group room, meaning there are multiple tables laid out by one another. You can pull a curtain around your table for a bit more privacy to allow you to change. But there were a couple of people being worked on in the middle tables and there is no way in or out of the room without walking by them, so those people get less privacy. The service starts with a deep head massage, which was amazing. The pressure was just right and because you're constantly getting your scalp worked on with the lathering and rinsing, it was easy to drift off and take a nap during your service. The hair wash part itself is about 45 minutes, and the remaining time on your service is for them to blow dry your hair. They prop you back and cover you up with warm, soft blankets while they dry your hair, so you're extremely comfortable. Overall, I left feeling refreshed and relaxed, which mitigated the long wait time in the beginning. read more

I took a Groupon here to try the scalp spa that's getting so popular these days. Jenny did a great job - it was relaxing and she was friendly. Hair felt great and stayed clean for longer than usual :) The only thing worth keeping in mind is the fact that the rooms aren't really rooms, but partitioned spaces. I was the last customer that day so there was no one around, but I can see how if you go during a busy time, you may hear conversations outside. I don't think it's a big deal though. read more

Here is the hair spa procedure:1) Hair Analysis 2) Eye massage, then eye mask (you can pick hot or cold) 3) Cleansing 4) Massage (neck and shoulders) 5) Rinsing 6) Drying 7) Serum, lighting, and then done. My friend loves it. She said this is her first time doing a hair spa, and she has a good experience with it. I was glad to have parking right in front of the shop, and the atmosphere was so relaxing. Although I was only there for a haircut I would totally come back for a head message and fall asleep.
