I had told meghan at our original appointment that I have bipolar. When she suggested prednisone, I told her I couldn't take it. Her comment back was "oh it makes you crazy, huh?" I found that very offensive, especially from someone in the medical field. I'm trying to find a new place.

Dr. Suber is an excellent doctor who cares about patients and takes the necessary time with you…read morerather than rushing you in and out. Her staff are friendly, professional and efficient unlike many practices in town who seem to care less about patients and drop the ball when it comes to personal attention and professionalism. The practice is small enough that you get the individual attention you need while offering ancillary services such as lab work on site. They offer electronic check in using a tablet where you can even pay your bill by swiping your credit card as well as a patient portal where your electronic record can be updated and checked. My only complaint being the fact I that after one week I was not notified about whether or not my lab work was complete, causing concern over the results. It wasn't too much and it wasn't too little. It challenged me in good ways and broadened my horizons. It changed my perspective on things and how I think about anxiety. This is a wonderful group for anyone who is experiencing lots of anxiety or is having a tough time. They teach you many wonderful skills; they're so versatile! You get to decide what you choose to do and what works for you. I highly recommend this program for everyone!!

I'd recommend K.Nace if you're looking for a specific recommendation, but I think anyone here would be great.

I had an intake interview with a woman who said to me, "you know you have a baby growing in there right? It's a baby. You have a baby inside you." Then 10 minutes later as I'm getting the ultrasound done, the technician says I have a blighted ovum, which is basically something that happens when the cells stop dividing within the first several weeks of pregnancy but your body doesn't miscarry it so you still have pregnancy symptoms & test positive. Imagine if I had wanted a baby--it would be heartbreaking to someone who tried and/or wanted a baby. And then to hear nothing but "it's a baby" from a woman at this place right before you get the ultrasound and find out it's actually NOT a baby and it never will become a baby??? Why in God's name would you tell someone who believes they are about 7 weeks along that they have a baby inside them?! They don't! I support women no matter what choices they want to make regarding their own body. This place does not. They try to appeal to your emotional vulnerability and misinform you to try to get you to second-guess your own choices. That can hurt you emotionally whether you do or do not want to be a mom. STAY INFORMED. MAKE THE CHOICE THAT YOU WANT TO MAKE. AVOID THIS PLACE.
