I told my barber what I wanted and he asked me before I could say it "do you want straight razor or no"? I said, yes all around. The next thing I heard was clippers starting. ‍ I dint say anything and let him continue. I came to a conclusion that he had not much experience with cutting different types of hair based on how he folded down my ears and cut into the flesh rather than cutting a clean half circle around the ear. The shave begain with warm shaving cream and and an almost face burning towel being placed on me then asked "let me know if it's too hot". I let him continue and was shown my face twice and had to correct him as to where my natural beard line was. Moral of the story is: when you are away from your barbershop and go into an unfamilure shop watch and see who can cut the way you are used to and wait for them, don't just fill a seat. I paid $53 including my tradtional "never go back tip" of 20% because he seemed to need it. Believe it or not the guy told me "I wish we would stay open all the time I gotta get my money". I suggest find the guy with a straight razor on his arm or the former Marine.

I literally live around the corner and was there in less than a minute. I was told that I now had a 23 minute wait since another customer just walked in with no check in. When I asked why, she said that her co-worker just went on a break. WTH??? Didn't she look to check that a customer was already checked in??? The attitude was also not very customer friendly when I said cancel my appointment. She simply shrugged her shoulders not even apologizing.
