I chose this "elite" salon expecting a professional experience. Instead, the entire process was…read moremishandled from start to finish. My stylist initially called in sick -- understandable. But when I arrived for the rescheduled appointment, it appeared they had brought her out while she was still visibly unwell. She repeatedly told me how terrible she felt, and unfortunately the haircut reflected that: uneven, rushed, and far below the standard they promote. When I later called to express my concerns, my call was taken by a very young, clearly fragile receptionist. I told her several times that none of this was her fault and that my frustration was with the situation, not with her. Despite that, the salon's only response was to accuse me of being "rude to a teenager." This raises an obvious question: why would a supposedly high-end salon place an inexperienced, sensitive teenager in charge of handling customer complaints? At no point did I insult or mistreat her -- I simply communicated my dissatisfaction with an objectively poor experience. While I did receive a refund, the lack of accountability, the gaslighting, and the dismissive attitude from management speak volumes. This salon markets itself as upscale, but the professionalism simply isn't there.

And my curls always return…read more However, the owner pressed my hair because Noni wasn't available and she passed over one section of my hair way too many times. After I washed my hair, I had heat damage! When I messaged her about it, she basically told me that there's no way she could have done it because she limits herself to TWO passes and that previous heat usage will cause that. Which is a lie. I watched her press the hair shaping my face multiple times to get it to lay how she wanted and I NEVER use heat on my own hair. I go to a professional about twice a year to have it straightened. I had to cut about three/four inches of my hair in the front and now I'm set way back. Incredibly disappointed in my last service and I will not be returning. Attached is my hair before she pressed it... and after.

Searching for a new Salon/Stylist home that opens on Sundays, positive atmosphere, experienced professional women, is not easy! Alexus did an amazing job with my hair! Hidden gem! (Note:…read moreThe address listed on this Yelp page is wrong! You have to look up Mane Hair LLC on Google maps to get the right address. I got lost on the drive over.) I had an amazing experience at Mane Hair. The staff is extremely warm and friendly. It felt very down-to-earth, genuine and relaxed. I have been to other salons where the vibe is cold and uncomfortable. It was just $30 (this amount is not including tip) for a high quality hair cut. Excellent value! The stylist asked me about what I wanted and gave me exactly what I wanted. (Almost like she could read my mind) She was sure to ask about what length I wanted. She made an initial cut on a lock of hair just to make sure I was good with the length. I have never had so much thought and consideration provided for me when getting my hair done. The hair stylist was extremely empathetic. The staff is sure to hype you up with compliments. I felt amazing after leaving! It might seem cheesy to some but it really made me feel good. I'll definitely be a repeat customer! I overheard that the stylists at Mane Hair don't have to pay in order to work at the salon (which I guess is apparently a thing in the hair salon industry). So you can feel good that the hair stylists are being treated relatively fairly. Overall, I highly recommend!

I don't see an option to add a picture She was told a refund would not be issued and they wanted a third try but before her hair grew out any or would be charged another full service. We don't trust them to touch her hair again and are so disappointed. At this point she's afraid adding anymore chemicals will damage her hair more, despite them saying otherwise. The woman was kind and she was kind in return, especially with her daughter there; however this doesn't make up for mutilating her hair. Sometimes people need to be able to say this is not our best and we messed up, sadly that did not happen. They even tried to convince her this was similar to the picture requested, which is laughable. Best of luck to the ladies there. And beater luck to those of you going to your hair done!
