We called the number and Jeremy picked up the phone. First of all he was very friendly and professional. We set up a time to meet with him to get familiar with the boat. We were surprised at the detail and time he took to explain and show us how to back the boat in. We didn't have to do anything for safety equipment etc. It was all on the boat. He even filled the ice chest with Ice. The little touches sure make a difference. We spent an amazing day on a Brand New Boat and the kids had a blast! We will do this every year we come to Helena. Food at the cafe looked good too. If you're a tourist budgeting your time you might want to pass. On our two hour boat ride we learned a bit about the area, Lewis & Clark and the flora & fauna. The ride itself was basically looking at rock cliffs, pine trees and spinning around in circles for different views. With the required half hour early request and a little time after the tour it took about three hours of our time.

A few particular times she would say to cast it "there" and boom, I would catch a fish. If we weren't catching for a bit, she would want to change the fly. Shelly is so attentive to everything all at once. Rowing, looking out for fishy water, switching up flies, looking out for upcoming boulders and rocks and noticing wildlife. She is a real conscientious multi-tasking guide. I feel that women guides are better at this than men, especially after my experience with her on the water. She goes above and beyond to assure you a fun day on the water. Looking forward to my trip back to Montana next summer!

Motel: very basic motel room with a much needed baseboard heater that I cranked up to warm up the room after cold 20 degree night. Affordable at $75 / night. Fly shop: well stocked, very knowledgeable and excellent service. Staff are welcoming and helpful! Got a number of October Caddis pupa flies for the river after the Craig shops had run out! Fishing - so many walk in access spots along the river that made it productive for any type of fishing (dry, nymph, streamer, spey).

The facilities, not the storage racks, are is disrepair. The place is dirty from mud/dirt drive. Gas is over 4dollars a gallon and everything there is 100-150% markup! The mechanic on site, which forced me to vacate, is new and very reckless with boats both in dirty service and putting you boat in the water!!! The have left the owner a message for a call to inform him of our service there for this mechanic and support staff disinterest and he or she has not returned my call. The mechanic is not trustworthy and is not professional!!! My rent there went up to 1350.00 yr. Boat was always dusty but this mechanic recently let my boat fill up with dirt and did not care to try to cleanup after servicing it!! I will never personally do any more business with this establishment at least until they improve the customer experience which I doubt will be met anytime soon! Good luck you all!

It's there first season open for winter…read more The first site they put us in, the water pressure was at 20 and no internet. They moved us. Second site was much better put hubby add to modify the sew pipe that had in ground, was way to high with no slop. So, the wind here can be very high, 50-60 mph , so make sure you have your skirting secured. They Do Not do snow removal at camp ground. Other then these issues , we did enjoy our stay. We got to see rams and prong horns. They roamed all over the came ground was cool.
