I've always thought there were two categories for hair stylists: those who can't cut and those who…read morecan; I was wrong. There are actually three: those who can't cut, those who can, and those who cut your hair like it's a freaking work of art. Stylists at Suzanne's Organics fall into the third category, I felt the stylist (Tara) went above and beyond on my mane. First cutting it wet and then going back in to texture and fine tune it after it was dry; this isn't out of the ordinary for someone who cuts well, but the attention to detail and customization of the cut to really make it my own was exceptional. A tweak here, a tweak there, she even made a few nuance adjustments as I was getting out of the chair to really make sure the cut sat right at every angle. It felt really good to have someone put that much time an effort into my look. I got a great cut from Jeremy and was pleased to find after several tries around town someone that can cut hair the way I ask. He really took his time to do it right, he listened to what I wanted and it turned out exactly the way I had hoped. I hate to recommend them because they get booked up so fast I really don't want to share. That said they earned a top ranking. I moved here from LA and thought I would never find anything this good in a small market like Kalamazoo. I already booked my next two cuts.
