MOTB has been our second home for the last four years (2021-2025). After touring 16 daycares, I…read moreknew moments after walking into MOTB that it was the one, and I am pleased to say my instincts were right! Our first son was four months old when he started and Ms. Farideh helped me and my baby through the transition with care and compassion. When my second was born, it was incredibly comforting to know I already had a nurturing and safe environment for him once I returned to work. The teachers in the baby room (esp Ms. Carol!) adored my babies and will forever be second moms to my kiddos. In room 2, Ms. Esme and Ms. Farideh not only loved my kids but also partnered with us through big milestones like potty training, dropping the pacifier, and weaning. Both of my kids flourished in their educational environment from early math concepts to phonics to foreign language to art, it never ceases to amaze me how much my kids learn each day! This was also the class where my kids started to develop friendships and social skills. The other families at MOTB have been amazing and although we've moved out of the area we intend to keep these fantastic people in our lives! Room 3 with Ms. Thianga is where my eldest truly thrived. She supported his interests and built his confidence in the classroom. He was starting to read and doing arithmetic by his 4th birthday. She is so good at noticing a child's aptitude and cultivating it without creating any pressure. I can only hope my kids continue to have such great educators in their new schools. Any time I had questions or concerns, I was met with grace and support. The daily structure is well-balanced and they are true to the Montessori methods while still providing the warmth of smaller daycares. Some may find the limited use of the parent portal app to be lacking, but personally I felt it was spot on. I prefer my children's caregivers be primarily focused on the kids, not on curating photos and messages and tracking activities for parent updates. I always got the updates I needed at pickup/dropoff and was kept apprised of notable events. So for us, it was a perfect fit! My children have been safe, loved, and accepted for who they are at this school and as a parent I have felt a true partnership with the staff. I will be forever grateful for the foundation MOTB gave my children, it is truly priceless.

Mrs. Farideh and Ms. Luana the administrators care deeply about their students, how they keep track of what everyone needs is beyond me. They have loved my children and helped them learn to do things for themselves, to be a good friend and classmate, and solid building blocks of their education. They've had excellent teachers and have been lucky to be in Mrs. Itzhels class for two years. It feels like family here and I'm really going to miss it as my boys go to kindergarten. I cannot recommend MOTB enough.

From the very first week, our child felt welcomed. He quickly made a wonderful group of friends and now genuinely loves going to school every day. At the previous school, he dreaded. The culture at CHIME is kind, inclusive, and supportive, and it shows in how the students treat one another. Academically, we couldn't be happier. Our son transferred below grade level in reading and has since reached grade level thanks to the incredible support from his teachers and the Reading Lab program, which provides free small-group instruction before school. Programs like Reading Lab and Math Lab demonstrate that CHIME is committed to helping every child succeed. As parents of a child with an IEP, we've been especially impressed by the school's special education team. Every IEP meeting has been collaborative, thoughtful, and solution-focused. We feel like true partners with the teachers and staff, and our son has benefited tremendously from their support. One thing that has consistently stood out is the level of support in the classroom. There are multiple adults working with students, creating an environment where children receive the attention they need. The administration is approachable, transparent, and genuinely cares about both students and families. Communication is clear, and we've always felt heard when we've had questions or concerns. We also appreciate the many practical details that make life easier for working families. The pickup process is exceptionally well organized with flexible options, affordable extended pickup and aftercare, and a breakfast/lunch program with menus families can review in advance. These thoughtful systems reduce stress for parents. Beyond academics, there are wonderful opportunities including music, art, robotics, game design, and other enrichment programs that help students discover new interests. We applied to CHIME multiple years before finally getting in, and it has absolutely lived up to our hopes. Looking back, we didn't realize how much better a school experience could be until we came here. We feel incredibly fortunate to be part of this community and would recommend CHIME without hesitation.

Apparently, winning your region to qualify for playoffs doesn't matter and substitutions are for amateurs. They were they only team with just 6 players. Player #3 never left the court. I'm not sure if the coach forgot the rest of the roster existed, or if #3 is secretly welded to the hardwood. Either way, it was less "team sport" and more "one‑man show." Forget fair play--this squad has turned "gaming the system" into an Olympic event. Watching them was like seeing someone brag about winning Monopoly after stealing from the bank. Truly the highlight of the evening - parents of players who won in spite of them, bragging while the game was still going on. Let's keep it classy rather than try to live vicariously through your children. Nothing screams "athletic excellence" like crushing the spirits of kids half your size by bending every rule in sight. Inspirational, if your role model is a cartoon villain. If you want to see basketball played with integrity, look elsewhere. If you want to witness a cautionary tale about how not to raise athletes, this is your show. Bring popcorn--it's a comedy disguised as a game.

There are many enrichments that Lanai pays for Out-Of-Pocket. Sone of these include Computer Lab, with macs PE With an amazing coach and Science with an amazing teacher. Instead of the sone principals in other schools just sitting down and waiting in a office this, instead he takes care of the school by talking to students sone times watching over the students and he also helps direct the school amazingly while doing all of that. I was delighted to hear a program packed with myriad Hanukkah songs, from "Hanukkah o Hanukkah" to "Kindled by the Flame" (which references Hanukkah and Menorahs in every verse, complete with wiggling candle fingers). And of course the classic "Happy Hanukkah". All of these songs were absolutely beautiful, especially because each song was presented INTACT, without censorship. But what was ugly was the School's systematic censorship of "Christmas". Not a single time did the word Christmas get sung, and it was not by accident. The concert was so thoroughly de-Jesused that even the great "Have yourself a Merry Little Christmas" was bastardized to "Have yourself a Merry *Winter Season*"! I am the father of a family of church-going followers of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and Christmas marks His birth into this world. That said, I don't expect our public school to be teaching my kids Christmas hymns. But if Lanai staff ARE going to teach my son religious songs, then they cannot discriminate against Christians by deliberately avoiding and excising any mention of Christmas like it's Kryptonite. I cannot imagine the uproar if the entire music program had been filled with expressly Christmas songs and the closest thing to mentioning Hanukkah was "Happy Other Winter Thing". If Lanai is low-key trying to be a public Hebrew school, that's not what we signed up for. As a public school Lanai must be accountable to all its students, and to Federal Laws prohibiting religious discrimination.
